The China-ASEAN Expo Forest and Wood Products Exhibition 2018 will be held in Nanning on Nov 16-19. A variety of forest and wood products will be displayed at the CAEXPO to enhance bilateral exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN.
The total value of China’s forestry industry exceeded seven trillion yuan ($1,045 billion) for the first time in 2017, with import and export volume of forest products reaching $150 billion. The forestry industry maintained a rapid growth over the past five years, and is sure to boost China’s green economy and provide opportunities for China-ASEAN countries to enhance industrial transformation and upgrading.
In 2018, the total value of China's forestry industry is expected to reach 7.5 trillion yuan, with an import and export trade of $160 billion.
