9月9日，以“歌頌友誼，播種友愛，傳遞友情，共享友好”為主旨的第五屆世界朋友節在中國孔子之鄉曲阜盛大開幕，世界朋友節活動組委會主席張井濤宣讀了《世界朋友節尼山宣言》。《宣言》指出，從這裡，世界朋友節將再次出發，以常態化、主題化、多元化的活動形式，推動各國文化交流，加強彼此經濟合作，融洽各族人民情感，促進世界和平發展。

當日9時30分，組委會在曲阜尼山聖境舉行了敬天祭聖儀式。曲阜市委宣傳部原副部長、曲阜市政府新聞發言人主祭官孔令紹主持，孔子獎章組織委員會秘書長邢學坤《宣讀祭文》。納米比亞、毛里求斯駐華大使與來自中國、斐濟、馬來西亞、南部非洲、美國、澳大利亞、加拿大、俄羅斯等國家和地區的世界各地賓朋400餘人歡聚尼山聖境，共慶這一倡導“人與人團結友愛，人與萬物和諧共生”理念的國際性節日。
據介紹，世界朋友節是一個由中國人發起的國際共度的節日，自2016年起，已先後在斐濟、津巴布韋、馬來西亞和澳大利亞成功舉辦了四屆，作為“友誼使者”的世界朋友節，得到了各界人士、國際友人的一致好評。
第五屆世界朋友節系首次在中國舉辦，主辦方世界朋友節活動組委會和孔子獎章組織委員會以“一帶一路”和“人類命運共同體”為引領、以“文化藝術交流展示和經濟貿易洽談合作”為核心，內容豐富多彩。敬天祭聖儀式之後，還相繼舉辦了國醫大健康產業發展論壇、國際詩藝文化交流論壇和孔子文化全球華文媒體協作中心揭牌儀式、世界姓氏宗親文化研究中心成立儀式、世界朋友節國際青少年微電影大賽啟動儀式、世界朋友心連心手拉手幫扶公益行動啟動儀式、“有朋”杯國際人文攝影大賽啟動儀式、錢捍抗疫影像紀實作品研討會等活動，並向有關單位和個人頒發了國際文化藝術交流貢獻獎、金青藤國際詩歌獎、詹納國際免疫貢獻獎和孔子獎章有朋獎等。參與活動的眾多企業界朋友在“文化藝術交流展示和經濟貿易洽談合作”中相互交流溝通，推介新產品，結交新朋友，踐行和推動人類命運共同體發展，促進世界和平以及人類對美好生活的嚮往和共同追求。

In the "three emotions" of human beings,love witnesses happiness, affection maintains family, and friendship linksone's career and the common destiny of human society. 綿綿尼山聖境，浩浩禮儀之邦。今天，我們站在聖人之鄉，感懷先哲對人間友愛的讚譽，聆聽華夏民族對人類命運共同體的呼聲，從“有朋自遠方來不亦樂乎”的真情，到“與人為善，擴大朋友圈”的胸懷，這一來一往，跨越亙古的時空碰撞，無不代表著人類至善至美的靈魂追求。
The holy land of Nishan is a vast land of rites. Today,standing in the holy land, we feel the praise of the ancient sages for thefriendship between human beings, and listen to the voice of the Chinese nationfor a community of shared future for mankind. From the goodwill of"what a pleasure to have friends coming from afar" to the mind of"be kind to others and expand the circle of friends", this coming andgoing, across the ancient space-time collision, all represent the pursuit ofperfection soul of human beings.

世界朋友節自發心創意於中國撫順，到由世界民俗文化大會（悉尼）發起確立；從2016年9月9日首屆世界朋友節在斐濟誕生，到2017年、2018年、2019年，第二、第三、第四屆世界朋友節在津巴布韋、馬來西亞、澳大利亞成功舉行，“歌頌友誼，播種友愛，傳遞友情，共享友好”的主題便傳唱於天南地北；“文化藝術交流展示和經濟貿易洽談合作”兩大平臺上就一直綻放著人類對精神文明與物質文明的不懈追求。
The idea of World Friends Day was initiated in Fushun,China and established by World Folklore Culture Assembly (Sydney) ; From thebirth of World Friends Day in Fiji on September 9, 2016 to the successfulholding of the second, third and fourth World Friends Day in Zimbabwe, Malaysiaand Australia in 2017, 2018 and 2019. The theme of Praise Friendship,Plant Friendship, Convey Friendship and Share Friendship has been sung all overthe world, and the two platforms of cultural and artistic exchange and economicand trade negotiation and cooperation have been blooming with the unremittingpursuit of human spiritual and material civilization.

Friend is not the exclusive property of human beings,but also the interdependence of human beings and other forms of life, even morethe mutual knowledge between human beings and all things. 金木水火土，五行循環，生生不息。當第五屆世界朋友節結緣於這塊聖地，其自身也完成了一次自我循環，五行歸土，這是一次迴歸，也是一次溯源，更是一次新的起步。
在未來的道路上，人類如果選擇了自我敵對，或者失去對其他生命和自然的敬畏，就無異於選擇了自戧和死亡。
Gold, wood, water, fire and earth, the five elementsis a cycle and continue to grow. When the fifth World Friends Day is tied tothis holy land , it has also completed a self cycle, and the five elementsreturn to the earth. This is a return, a trace and a new start.
On the road to the future, if human beings choose tobe self hostile or lose the awe of other life and nature, we will be nodifference from choosing suicide and death.
