A national anthem is a nation's official song which is played or sung on public occasions.
國歌指的是在公共場合播放和演奏的國家官方歌曲。

song ：歌;歌曲;(統稱)歌曲;歌唱;聲樂;(鳥的)鳴囀
民族歌,指能激起愛國情懷的歌曲,如我們的紅歌
*anthem 和 song 都是名詞，anthem 單獨使用就有國歌的意思，而song單獨使用不指代某一類型的歌曲。anthem的使用範圍沒有song使用範圍廣。
anthem能表示某一類型的歌曲，song 可以作為歌曲的統稱。
song 還有鳥叫聲的意思。
學會了國歌，還要學會祖國的英文表達。祖國的常見英語是 motherland 和homeland，二者也是有區別的。
motherland 的感情色彩更強烈，homeland 除了表示祖國，還有家鄉和國土的意思。
