在疫情笼罩下的英国，BBC 悄悄上线了一部纪录片《杜甫：中国最伟大的诗人》（ Du Fu: China's Greatest Poet ）。
不同于以往猎奇东方的审视姿势，这部纪录片以“诗”为切入点，称得上纯粹，它用一个多小时的时间，最大限度的还原了这位中国诗人的颠沛一生。
杜甫，距今 1200 多年，早于但丁，也早于莎士比亚。为了呈现的真实性，历史学家迈克尔·伍德（ Michael Wood ）沿着他留下的足迹——从少年居住地河南，云游过的山东、河北，至客居十年的长安，再到孤寂漂泊的蜀中和湖南——进行了朝圣之旅。
