I Made a New Friend 我交了一位新朋友
This afternoon I joined in the English Corner at the Wuyi Square (廣場).
今天下午我參加了五一廣場的英語角活動。
There I met Tom, an American (美國人) boy. He was tall and cute, with blue eyes and brown hair.
在那裡，我遇見了一個美國男孩湯姆。他碧眼棕發，個子高高的很可愛。
He was as old as I. We talked with each other for two hours.
他和我年紀一樣大。我們一起聊了兩個小時。
He told me that his parents (父母) had come to China on business. He was on holiday (假期), so he came with them.
他告訴我他父母出差到中國來，碰巧他放假，所以就同父母一起來了。
He was glad to see that so many Chinese children like English (英語), and we agreed to keep in touch with each other later on.
見到這麼多中國孩子喜歡英語，他很高興。我們相約以後保持聯繫。
How happy I am to make a new friend!
我好高興交了一位新朋友的啊！
