做這類題的前提要具備兩個基礎：
一是要懂得分析句子結構，即劃分句子成分；
二是知道充當各個句子成分的詞類或詞性。
如：充當主語或賓語的應是名詞，充當定語、表語或補語的應是形容詞，充當狀語的應是副詞(修飾動詞、形容詞或全句)。有了這些基礎，找這類錯就容易了。

這是一個常考點，幾乎年年都考，甚至一份試卷中出現兩道這類錯誤。錯誤類型有：
1. 在句中作定語或表語本應用形容詞，卻用了副詞或名詞等別的詞性的詞。如［真題再練］1、2、3、5。
