《Dry Bones》是著名出版社Child’s Play出版的一本既古怪又有趣的洞洞书。
封面的骷髅造型，面带微笑，充满动感，非但不让人觉得恐怖，反而更加可爱亲切。
骨骼是我们人体的基本架构，支撑着我们的身体，就如同建筑物的钢筋梁柱。而骨骼的作用又有多奇妙呢？除了保护我们体内的器官之外，我们之所以能够踢球、骑车、玩滑板，活动自如，也都是骨骼的功劳。
绘本中，一群小朋友正在玩拼搭骨头的游戏，通过一句Let’s connect those dry bones，把身体的各个部位的骨头拼搭在一起，使小朋友非常直观地了解自己的身体。
本书围绕人体骨骼结构展开，小朋友按照身体从下往上的顺序，依次可以掌握身体部位的名称：toe（脚趾）、foot（脚掌）、ankle（踝关节）、leg（腿）、knee（膝盖）、thigh（大腿）、hip （屁股）、back（背）、shoulder（肩膀）、neck（脖子）、以及head（头）。
是一本很好的科学普及绘本。
读绘本时会发现，每翻一页，就会出现两个新的关于身体部位的骨头。读到最后，一个完整的骷髅就出现啦。洞洞书的设计就是这样神奇，带着小朋友们进行探知。
绘本的第二页，出现了几个身体部位的词：finger（手指）、hand（手）、wrist（手腕）、arm（手臂）、elbow（胳膊肘）。虽然后面没有再出现，爸爸妈妈也是可以给小朋友仔细讲解一下，因为这几个词在生活中使用的频率也是非常高的。
在倒数第二页，又出现了一张与前面图相对应的身体部位图，这些单词是不是都看不懂呢？这些可都是关于人体部位的专业术语。
作者介绍
Kate Edmunds，曾在电视公司当了十年的设计师。后来，热衷于创意插画和新奇主意的Kate成立了自己的插画工作室。
更是因为宝贝的出生，让Kate脑洞大开，创作了她唯一的一本童书：Dry Bones。
