去医院不是"go to hospital"!
go to hospital, 第一反应是不是"去医院"？
但其实"去医院"应该说：go to the hospital
注意哦，hospital 前多了个定冠词the！
区分:
- go to hospital 指去住院看病, 病人
- go to the hospital 指去到医院, 可能是医生, 护士, 或探望病人的人
我们中国人喜欢说"去医院", 但外国人更习惯说"看医生", 在他们的认知里, 感冒发烧这种小病, 一般就找家庭医生, 或是去诊所(clinic)。
更常用的表达:
♕ I need to go to the doctor.
我要去看医生。
♕ I'd like to see a doctor.
我想去看医生。
♕ Have you seen a doctor about it yet?

什么情况才说hospital？
hospital在英文里指的是大医院，另外你如果说 go to hospital, 老外会认为你病得很严重, 到了要住院的程度。非常容易产生误会。
例句:
♕ He remained in the hospital for a solid month.
♕ The pain got worse and she had to go to the hospital.
