比较状语从句表达人或事物的性质或特征的不同程度的对比，涉及形容词和副词的比较等级级。
同级比较
同级比较就是说明人或物在某方面的性质或特征是一样的，结构为：as...as...。第一个as为副词，后面跟形容词或副词；第二个as为连词，后面跟是主谓结构，谓语动词因和主句相同，一般都省略。
The soldiers are as brave as lions.
这些战士象狮子一样勇猛。
The long-distance runner wish he can run as fast as the horse.
这位长跑运动员真希望自己能跑得跟马一样快。
Red is two times as much as Blue.（红色是蓝色的两倍。
否定结构为：not so/as...as...。
the same as意为“与...一样”。
They look the same as each other.
他们看上去长得一样。
just as意为“正如”，有“just as..., so...”结构。
It has turned out just as we wished.
结果终于如我们所愿。
Just as we would not, so neither would you.
正如我们不愿意一样，你们也不会愿意。
in the same way that意为“正如，与...一样”。
