稱子英語俚語習語學習：call it a day
call it a day：結束一天的工作、到此為止、停止
To stop doing something for a while, normally at least until the following day. This can also be used as slang to say something has been ended completely.
表示“下班；到此為止；收工”，也可以成為 call it a night。
暫停做某事，通常至少到第二天。也可以用作俚語表示某事已經完全結束。
例：
After forty years in politics I think it's time for me to call it a day (= to retire) .
從政四十年，我想現在也該退休了。
