每日一句英譯英：decode(解碼)，declassify呢？
decode和declassify是什麼意思？
今天無意看到一部電視劇《解密》，也沒花時間看它講什麼內容，只看到它的片頭裡“解密”是decode這個英語單詞。
我瞬間“不對吧？”起來，“解密”怎麼是decode呢？按照“解密”中文字面理解，應該是“解除原本是機密的文件”才叫“解密”呀！
後來翻出它的劇情介紹：它的劇目果然是“破除一系列解碼”的意思，題目英文decode果然沒用錯。但是，看來我這個中國人對漢字“解密”都不見得懂得它什麼意思。
見到中文“解密”，你的第一個理解是什麼？會理解成“解碼”嗎？
1) decode的英譯英
decode的中文的確是“解碼”。
1. They finally decoded a messages that used special symbols,signs and language.
2. We've tried and tried,but no one can decode this text
So,you decode a message,you decode a text,you decode special symbols,special signs or a language,so yoy can understand what they mean/what their meanings are.
3. Okay.I got you.When you decode a message,a text,you try to understand its meaning written in a way that is very difficult to understand.Or a difficult message is made easy to understand.
4. Okay.I got you.To decode a message means to translate a secret message into the language that everyone can understand easily.
有了對decode精確的英語理解，怎麼用就一目瞭然了。
但是，你必須記住decode的這些簡單英語。
2) declassify的英譯英
declassify的中文的確是“解密”。
我們也知道，“秘密”的等級一般分三等：secret(秘密)，confidential(機密) and top secret(絕密)。
Okay.I got you.When we declassify a document,a secret,we mean this document is no longer a secret,a confidential,or a top secret,and it is open to the public,is made public,or the public=everyone can read it.
從英語裡，我們可以清楚地看出decode和declassify的根本區別。
