"30多歲" 用英文怎麼說？
more than ×
thirty something √
more 是多”，但 more than twenty 可不是二十多！這樣的表達是在強調不止30（可能是40,50,80…）可意思卻差老遠了！所以如果對三十多歲的女生說：“ more than thirty”，是很可能會被打的！
something表示不明確的"幾", 類似的表達有:
- thirty something percent= 百分之三十幾吧
- one hundred something people=一百來號人吧
例句：Being thirty something now is scary – fightingmillions of other graduates for your best job,struggling to raise a mortgage deposit and findingtime to juggle all your relationships.
30多歲是件恐怖的事兒，這個年齡意味著你要與數百萬畢業生競爭最好的工作，為按揭努力存錢，同時還要找時間應付情感問題”。

"好幾萬塊錢"怎麼說？
當基數詞表示不確切數字，如成百、成千上萬，三三兩兩時，基數詞則以複數形式出現。
※ 補充：ten 和 thousand 都要加 s ；英文裡沒有"萬"這個單位，1萬 = 10千= ten thousand.

大廳裡有數以百計的人。

幾萬人擠進了那座體育館。
