regardless of：不管，不顾；无；不拘，一般用于客观上无法避免的事实，往往是不利的条件，因素，需要主语去正确面对和处理。

这两者为反义词，易混淆需注意。

近义词的attract 后面不能直接to，因为attract是及物动词，一般用法是: attract sb. to sth. ;

instead of 是介宾短语，其意与instead相同，不同之处在于instead of后常接宾语，多由名词、代词、介词、短语、动词+ing形式充当。
例如：If I hadn't got a cold I'd be working instead of lying here in bed.

需要注意的是，so和neither引导的倒装句，既可以位于句首开头，也可以也可以由并列连词连接，作为并列句紧跟前句。如：

*使用so还是neither取决于前句话是肯定句还是否定句；
*无论前句话是肯定句还是否定句，so和neither引导的倒装句都是肯定句，由neither引导的倒装句不能再加not；
