最近，英国人民表示很欢乐。
一方面是因为暑假要到了，又可以出去浪了。
另一方面，英国有一个早该入选世界自然遗产的地方， 经过了这么多年的波折，终于成功与大峡谷之类的地点并列，本周正式被联合国教科文组织确定进入“世界自然遗产”名录。
这也是英国境内第一个入选世界自然遗产的国家级公园。
你一定猜到我说的是哪里了。
没错，就是英国人夏天极其愿意去度假的——湖区！

从Cat Bells上远眺Skiddaw Range, Blencathra, Keswick and Derwent Water
湖区， Lake District， 2362平方公里， 大大小小19个湖泊。
属于英格兰西北方的Cumbria郡，英格兰境内所有高于910米的山峰，都位于湖区之内。
在英国近代文学史上， 称颂这一地区最广为流传的一首诗，当然是William Wordsworth的I wandered lonely as a cloud（我好似一朵流云独自漫游） 。
在此附上这首脍炙人口的诗作：
I wandered lonely as a cloud
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
and twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretched in never-ending line
along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,

这就是刺激Wordsworth写出以上诗作的地方——Buttermere
从Surprise View上远眺Derwentwater，另一个湖。
这两位老人家打开Derwentwater的方式是正确的——这里是湖区的第三大湖，风云变幻， 光线变化极其迷人。
湖区也是看夕阳的绝佳地点，比如在Wasdale Fells
但是我更喜欢在Ullswater旁看日落。
整个湖区就是国家公园，这里骑车游行也是不错的选择，还能经常看到野生动物，野马之类的，当然这里的特产品种——Herdwick sheep也是随处可见。
湖区这地方，我还是直接上图比较好，语言是苍白的
当然，在英国学习工作过的同学是一定去过湖区的。只不过，对于这样一个不要门票的世界自然遗产， 多去几次又又何妨？
