Apple 历年都会在六月举办的 WWDC 开发者大会中公布新的 iOS、iPadOS 系统，今年无意外会推出 iOS 14，除支持将于 9 月发布的新 iPhone 外，也意味着有些旧机型可能会被淘汰。
根据法媒《iPhoneSoft.fr》最新爆料，还在使用 iPhone 6s、iPhone SE（支持 iOS 13 的最低机型）用户或许不需要担心，因为 iOS 14 依然支持这些旧机，与 iOS 13 的支持列表相同，包括：
- iPhone 11 Pro
- iPhone 11 Pro Max
- iPhone 11
- iPhone XS
- iPhone XS Max
- iPhone XR
- iPhone X
- iPhone 8
- iPhone 8 Plus
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 7 Plus
- iPhone 6s
- iPhone 6s Plus
- iPhone SE
- iPod touch (7th generation)
《iPhoneSoft.fr》还强调，名单并非 Apple 最后核定名单，iPhone SE 和 iPhone 6s 还是有可能被剔除在外。
于在 iPad 方面，《iPhoneSoft.fr》声称 2015 年推出的 iPad mini 4 和 2014 年推出的 iPad Air 2 将被剔除在 iOS 14 的支持名单中，因此这将导致 iOS 14 将只支持以下几款机型：
- 12.9-inch iPad Pro
- 11-inch iPad Pro
- 10.5-inch iPad Pro
- 9.7-inch iPad Pro
- iPad (7th generation)
- iPad (6th generation)
- iPad (5th generation)
- iPad mini (5th generation)
- iPad Air (3rd generation)
由于《iPhoneSoft.fr》过去的预测颇为精准，这份升级列表具有一定参考性，过去《iPhoneSoft.fr》仅只有在 2019 年预测 iOS 13 不支持 iPhone SE 失准。
Apple 可能会在 iOS 14 特别着重于 Apple Arcade、Apple TV +、Apple News、Apple Music 等服务。此外，有传言指出 Apple 将在下一代 iPad Pro 和 iPhone 12 Pro 上增加镭射 3D 侦测元件，为 AR、VR 等应用铺垫基础。
