汪夢川
匹夫憂道竟何求，內熱如煎鯁在喉。
我固多情空自擾，人偏好事每相咻。
後生久困心猶烈，長鋏難歸氣尚遒。
豈懼江湖多鬼蜮，漫漫前路正堪遊。
汪夢川，湖北麻城人，文學博士，現執教於南開大學文學院。主要從事近代文學及南社研究。
WANG Mengchuan, born in Macheng, Hubei Province, was a PhD of Literature. He is a teacher at the School of Chinese Literature, Nankai University, and a researcher of modern literature and Nanshe Village.（張曄 譯）

A commoner, for the Word I explore,
Inner heat rushing onto my stuck throat.
I may have troubled myself, uncalled for,
And all those idlers and snobs jeer or gloat.
Although frustrated, I still feel ablaze;
A long sword held, I’ll struggle on with pride.
Demons, devils from the world I’ll erase
And I’ll surf the broad sea against the tide.
