名词的种类
普通名词

集合名词
class family team audience cattle people police clothes goods
集合名词容易成为陷阱，因为英语有主谓一致原则。class family team audience都是可单数可复数，所以考点总是处在和它们搭配的谓语动词上。
I have a big family. family是单数
My family are worried about me when I am away. family是复数，指家庭中的成员。
Our class is large.
The class are reading English.
专有名词
人名不加冠词，
地名 the US, the UK, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Persian Gulf....
物质名词一定是不可数名词
a piece of cake
a spoonful of sugar
a piece of cake
抽象名词
一般不可数，
honesty
happiness
My honesty is not in question.
我的诚实，不容怀疑。
名词的数
可数名词有复数形式。
此外，并不是o结尾的可数名词的复数都是+es，比如photo，piano，便是加s。
