Nice! Lotus flower seeds are used in many recipes. Most often in moon cakes and hot pots. The seeds have a black outer shell. Removing that you get a purple skinned seed, and removing the purple skin you get a white seed full of starch. They have unearthed lotus seeds buried underground for 700 to 1000 years and the seeds germinated and flowered!
