成就了菲律宾千姿百态的沙滩。
Located in the western Pacific Ocean, the Philippines is a sprawling archipelago consisting of some 7,100 islands and islets lying about 500 miles off the coast of Vietnam.
Of all these islands, only 2,000 are said to be inhabited. They all fall under the country's three main island groups —Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
菲律宾主要分为三大部分：
北部的吕宋岛，
中部的米沙鄢岛
以及南部的棉兰老岛。
Luzon and Mindanao are both named after the largest island in their respective groups, while the Visayas, also the Visayan Islands, are an archipelago.
The country is incredibly diverse in terms of language, religion, ethnicity and also geography. Beautiful and fractious, it is one of the most interesting countries in Asia.
吕宋岛 Luzon
位于菲律宾北部的吕宋岛，是菲律宾面积最大、人口最多、经济最发达的岛屿。吕宋岛是盛产稻米、椰子，吕宋雪茄闻名于世。吕宋同时也是菲律宾三大政区之一，中国古籍称吕宋岛为“小吕宋”。
Luzon is the largest and most populous island in the Philippines.
吕宋岛西南部马荣火山
吕宋岛在世界上的知名度虽不及马代、苏梅等大海岛，但该岛生态环境、人文文化都保存得非常完整，也拥有着众多的旅游资源。
Located in the northern part of the archipelago, it is the economic and political center of the nation, and home to the country's capital, Manila, as well as Quezon, the country's most populous city.
班吉沙滩是吕宋岛海湾最美的地区。位于西北端的佬沃，曾经是西班牙的殖民地，所以不同世纪的西班牙风格建筑随处可见，充满欧洲古典风情。

Vigan, one of the oldest towns in the country, is situated at the northern part of Luzon. It is a Spanish colonial fairy tale of dark-wood mansions, cobblestone streets and clattering kalesa (horse-drawn carriages). In fact, it is the finest surviving example of a Spanish colonial town in Asia and a Unesco World Heritage site.
米沙鄢岛The Visayas
米沙鄢岛位于吕宋岛和棉兰老岛之间。包括萨马、莱特、宿务、内格罗斯、班乃、保和、马斯巴特、朗布隆等大岛以及数百个小岛。
The Visayas, a collection of islands large and small in the central Philippines, are considered to be the cradle of the country.
长滩岛
其中，最负盛名的长滩岛就属于西米沙鄢群岛。长滩岛，位于班乃岛西北2公里，整座岛南北长不过7公里，却有着长达4公里的白色沙滩，位居世界前十名，被誉为“全球十大最美沙滩之一”。

Cebu, one of the islands of the Visayas, is travelers' fantasy of a tropical island coming true — balmy weather, pristine beaches, crystalline waters, and luxurious resorts with all the frills of modern living.
宿雾是当年麦哲伦最早登陆菲律宾的地点，也同样是麦哲伦的葬身之地，因此一进市区便能看到随处可见遗留下来的浓郁的西班牙风情。

The Boracay Island, in the western Visayas region, is famous for its beautiful white beach and fantastic resorts, and is a go-to destination for water sports, like snorkeling coral reefs and diving among shipwrecks.

棉兰老岛位于菲律宾群岛南部，也是菲律宾境内仅次于吕宋岛的第二大岛。
Mindanao is the second-largest island in the Philippines and the 8th most populous island in the world.
如果你爱吃榴莲，那你一定要知道达沃。达沃，被称为菲律宾榴莲之乡，是棉兰老岛最大的港口和经济中心。在达沃还能看到种类繁多的兰花，观赏国鸟菲律宾老鹰，攀登菲律宾最高山阿波山……

At the northeast of Mindanao lies Siargao, an island known as surfers' paradise in the Philippines, where locals, expats, and surfing enthusiasts ride the epic surfing waves.
锡亚高岛
坐落在棉兰老岛东北的菲律宾海中的锡亚高岛，隶属于北苏里高省。这里有长长的沙滩和珊瑚礁，是世界著名的冲浪圣地，号称菲律宾冲浪之都！
This laid-back island is home to amazing beaches, tropical jungles and beach huts, underground caves, spectacular lagoons, and secluded coves.
桑托斯将军城是菲律宾最南端的一座城市，坐落于菲律宾第二大岛屿棉兰老岛，并延伸至萨兰加尼湾。
来自于桑托斯将军城的金枪鱼质量上乘，肉质鲜美细腻，口感清爽有回甘，生食口感极佳，受到全球金枪鱼爱好者的广泛推崇。业内甚至还流传着这样一句话：世界上每两条金枪鱼就有一条来自桑托斯将军城。
In southern Mindanao there is the General Santos City, or "GenSan", a world famous fish port known as "the Tuna Capital of the Philippines".
三宝颜 Zamboanga
三宝颜市是菲律宾最古老的城市之一。这里有着全世界为数不多的粉红色沙滩：圣克鲁兹岛粉色沙滩，被国家地理杂志命名为“世界21个最佳海滩之一”。
The Zamboanga City, in the western Mindanao, is also a popular tourist spot with Spanish-style architecture, fine beaches, mountainous backdrop, and especially a pink sand beach on the Sta. Cruz Island!

最早达到菲律宾群岛的国家：中国！
Located on the shipping route between the East and West, the archipelagic country has more than just fascinating island attractions.
据史料研究，公元226年，东吴宣化从事朱应、中郎康泰浮海巡抚东南亚，抵达过越南、柬埔寨和南洋群岛等地，也曾到过今菲律宾境内的臣延、耽兰和杜薄。
菲律宾中国城 China Town
It was an indispensable part of the Asian-Pacific shipping lines and had greatly facilitated the trade and cultural exchanges among China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
当时菲律宾境内的岛屿上还没形成国家。因此，最早到达菲律宾群岛的国家是中国。菲律宾和中国的渊源，还远不如此。
The connection between China and the Philippines can date back to 226 AD in the Three Kingdom Period, when officials Zhu Ying and Kang Tai of the Kingdom Wu were sent as envoys to foreign areas across the South China Sea. They were said to have reached today's Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines and recorded in books what they saw in these areas.
到了隋唐时期，中国的航海业空前发展，福建的泉州港海外贸易已经十分繁荣。航海的船只和航海设备也大为进步，已经出现了中国到菲律宾之间比较固定的海上贸易航线。
In Sui and Tang dynasties (581—907), with the rapid development of China's shipbuilding techniques, a shipping route between China and the archipelago was established.
和吕宋岛仅一海峡之隔的民都洛岛，古称麻逸国，在十二世纪它就已经是菲律宾北部地区的贸易中心和商品集散地，也是古代海上丝绸之路的重要中转站。
Mait, a place now located in Mindoro of the Philippines, is recorded to have become a trade hub and cargo distribution center in the 12th century.
据记载，宋太平兴国七年，就已经有麻逸的船只载着货物到达广州海岸。中国商船也经常到民都洛岛进行贸易。
起初，中菲之间都是民间的沟通和贸易。1390年，苏门答腊岛移民米南加保人建立了菲律宾历史上第一个国家---苏禄苏丹国。古苏禄国和中国一直保持密切的友好往来。
In Ming dynasty (1368-1644), the exchanges between China and the Philippines were further enhanced following the visit of Paduka Pahala, the king of the archipelago's first regime Ancient Sulu, to China.
到了明代，中菲两国之间的经济文化交流更加频繁。除了民间的贸易来往，两国政府都曾互派使节进行友好访问。
史料曾记载，1417年苏禄群岛上的三位国王东王巴都葛叭哈喇、西王麻哈喇葛麻丁、峒王巴都葛叭喇卜率领家眷一行340人组成友好使团，前往中国进行友好访问，受到明永乐皇帝朱棣的隆重接待。
Historical records show that the king and his retinue travelled to Beijing and stayed for 27 days before they set off for home.
归国至山东德州，东王巴都葛叭哈喇因病医治无效，遗命留葬在今中国山东德州的北营村，也就是我们今日熟知的苏禄国东王墓。
When they reached Dezhou, Shandong on their way back, the Sulu King was struck with a serious illness and died unfortunately.
苏禄国东王墓是中国境内仅有的两座外国君主陵墓之一(另一座是位于南京的渤泥国王墓)，也是我国唯一的驻有外国王室后裔守陵村落的异邦王陵，更是中菲两国友谊的见证。
The king's tomb, along with that of the king of ancient Brunei in Nanjing, are the only two of its kind in China, testifying to the lasting friendship between China and the Philippines.
苏禄国东王墓
1521年，麦哲伦首次环球航海时抵达菲律宾群岛，之后的1571年，开启了这里长达三百多年的被殖民统治的治史。
在这一时期，菲律宾正是欧洲殖民者在欧、美、亚洲进行大规模三角贸易的重要一环：从欧洲出发贩卖黑奴到美洲挖银矿，然后在菲律宾用白银与中国商人交易换取丝绸、陶瓷等物品，再运回欧洲。
In the early 16 century, a shipping line, linking the Philippines with Mexico across the Pacific Ocean, was opened up.
菲律宾的历史名城维甘，在大航海时代就是海上丝绸之路的重要驿站。建于公元1892年的古灯塔，是全亚洲海拔最高的灯塔(约海拔300~400公尺)，以地理位置来看更是与台湾的鹅鸾鼻灯塔遥遥相望，它为在南中国海上来来往往的船只指引方向。

In the two and a half centuries that followed, Spanish trading ships travelled between Manila and Acapulco and brought spices, porcelain, silk, and other exotic goods from China to Mexico in exchange for New World silver.
These ships, linking the Philippines with Mexico across the Pacific Ocean, had come to be known as "Manila Galleons" to reflect the city they were sailing from.
如今，菲律宾是共建“一带一路”的重要伙伴，中菲两国在政治安全、经济合作、人文交流等方面的合作也不断深化。
Today, the Philippines is an enthusiastic and important partner of China in the Belt and Road infrastructure project.
