I travelled on a Shinkansen for the first time in September. I was impressed by the trains width and height, I believe they are bigger than any European high speed train? The trains didn't seem too new and I must admit I prefer the design of European high speed trains such as Italo o Frecciarossa. That said, it was an amazing journey.
