It may be a little too early, but anyone who's watched the Kings so far can tell this team is legit and more than just a flash in a pan. There may be some regression later on in the season, but no one can say they aren't in a better position now than they were before the Cousins trade.

At the time, I thought the Boogie trade was one of the worst I've ever seen, but Vlade has proved me wrong. I don't know if I've ever seen such a quick 180 on an NBA exec's reputation. Vlade was seen as completely clueless at first, and, now, people are respecting his moves.

The Boogie trade was a really good move but I still feel like we could have gotten more from it overall. It felt like the deal was rushed.
Maybe this was the best offer available, but I feel like perhaps some other team would have been willing to offer more.
But every one of Vlade's moves since then was spot on. 120% support from me.

Yes but the Kings ownership group tried to do one final push for the playoffs once the new arena was complete. Thats why they signed a bunch of vets for bloated contracts. Once it became clear this team wasn't going to make it thats when they decided to blow the team up.

Till Boogies agent told the Pels he wouldn't re-sign with them, then they retracted the other first for a second. At that point it was evident that Boogies agent was tanking his value and we had to do a trade quickly. Had the trade not leaked until completed Vlade would've got that second 1st.
