本文作者张同学，武汉大学2015级计算机科学与技术专业，目前正在美国麻省理工学院参加计算机科研项目。经过第一周的科研后，张同学反馈回来的最新消息是MIT教授希望她继续留下做科研，为期一年，目前正在帮张同学解决签证问题。毫无疑问，在MIT的接下来一年的经历将会成为张同学人生的宝贵财富，同时也为她将来申请进入MIT继续深造打下坚实的基础。

This week is my second week at MIT. And I think it was the most meaningful week I have taken. Besides the normal project research, I also became the committee member of the 4th international conference on Universal village.
I focused on smart agent and healthcare. So, I did some researches about the smart agent and healthcare. As for smart agent, I found some current smart agent system and did some analysis on them.
Here are the two levels of smart agent I summarized.
Moreover, I analyzed three current system.
●Alexa
Major flaws
1. Dependent on voice-recognition
2. Reactive to user commands; cannot anticipate future tasks
3. Scope restricted to the current household
Major strengths
1. smart speaker product is popular
2. Very good third-party integration for Alexa
3. (Smart speaker) not restricted to only 1 music service
●Google Home
Major strengths
1. The smart speaker product is popular
2. Integration with other Google services
3. Nice multilingual support - English, French, Mandarin, German
●Apple HomePod
Major strengths
1. Not overly reliant on the hub
2. Allows control outside the network
3. Integration with other Apple services
I studied deeply about these three systems to figure out my ideas about my project.
On Thursday and Saturday, I prepared for the coming International conference. My job was to design posters, agendas and thanks note, etc. In order to let the conference go well, I redesigned several times till they displayed perfectly. Because of my hard work and carefulness, professors gave me high praise.
