但是，now怎么会有“因为”的意思？

我们看看下面句子：

实际上，我们对这个词组也许是熟悉的，那就是 now that，这个词组意思是既然---注意，既然，就是因为的意思。

now也有这个意思的，可以看成是now that的省略。
