昨天参加了一场物外书店的活动，里面讲的是济慈和这个电影。
Bright Star是济慈写给女友芳妮-布劳恩（Fanny Brawne）的一首十四行诗。在本诗中，济慈采用了bright star，the moving waters，snow，love's ripening breast等意象，把关于爱情、死亡和永恒的思想融会在一起，表现了生活、死亡、爱情和理想等永恒的主题。
Bright Star

Bright star, would I were steadfast as thou art---
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And Watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors---
No-yet still steadfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever---or else swoon to death.

约翰·济慈（John·Keats）出生于1795年，英国伦敦，是浪漫主义诗人的杰出代表。济慈才华横溢，与雪莱、拜伦齐名。
Here lies one whose name was written in water.
此地长眠者，声名水上书。
这是济慈生前给自己撰写的墓志铭。济慈不愿把名字刻在墓碑上，而是写在水上，让这一生随流水逝去。但是他遗留下来的诗篇却一直誉满人间。
济慈年少时父母便相继去世，这种悲痛影响了济慈一生。后进入埃菲尔德学校（Enfield School）学习，阅读和写作能力突出。1810年被送去当药剂师的学徒；1815年考入伦敦大学国王学院（King's College London），不久便弃医写诗。1821年济慈因肺结核去世，年仅25岁，他的一生坎坷而短暂，他却留下了大量优美诗篇。代表作有：《夜莺颂》（Ode to a Nightingale）、《希腊古瓮颂》 (Ode on a Grecian Urn) 、《秋颂》（To Autumn ）、《忧郁颂》（Ode on Melancholy）等。
