新疆——166萬平方公里廣袤的土地，是古絲綢之路的重要路段，又是“一帶一路”的核心地帶。這裡是生我養我的故鄉，也給予了我攝影藝術創作的源泉。
在新疆三十年的拍攝歷程中，我自駕車走遍天山南北，行程160餘萬公里。多次出入生命的禁區羅布泊及無人區阿爾金山。最讓我不能忘懷的是為了填補影像空白，冒著生命危險進入崑崙山冰川。我沿著古絲綢之路，領略著新疆的雄偉與壯麗，感悟著造物的神奇與崇高。
雖然吃了不少苦，有時甚至會有生命的危險，但是這都是我人生的經歷，生命的體驗。
夜色中，胡楊掙扎向上的不屈給我動力。遼闊起伏的草原於光影變幻中令我心醉。傍晚霞照耀在天山雪峰，形成迷人的“金頂”，那是何等的巍峨壯麗。置身於荒無人煙的魔鬼城中，被奇形怪狀的雅丹包圍時，一陣嗚咽的風聲，都會感到毛骨悚然。而新疆冬季的冰峰雪嶺，小河樹掛所展現的，絕對是另一個繽紛玲瓏的雪世界。新疆的美景一次次撞擊著我的心靈。讓我忘記一切的艱難困苦，樂在其中。
新疆，用各種景色書寫著生命的讚歌，如果你能親自走一趟，那她一定給你無限的驚喜！

Li Xueliang
Xinjiang –a land covering 1.66 million square kilometers, is an important part of the ancient Silk Road as well as the core area of Belt and Road. It is where I was born and raised and it provides inspiration for my photographic creation.
During the three decades of photo taking in Xinjiang, I have traveled to Mt. Tianshan, a journey of more than 1.6 million kilometers. I have also traveled to Lop Nor, a forbidden zone, and Altun Mountain, a depopulated zone. I will never forget the journey to the glacier of Mt. Kunlun while risking my neck in order to take photograph there. Along the ancient Silk Road, I experienced the magnificence of Xinjiang and appreciated the wonders of the nature.
Although I experienced a lot of bitterness, sometimes I even put myself at risks, I consider these experiences as parts of my life.
At night, I was often encouraged by the struggling of Populus diversifolia to grow taller and taller. I was often intoxicated with the vast and rippling grassland. In the twilight, when the sunshine is reflected on the snowy Tianshan Mountain, I could see its magnificent “gold summit”. When I was in the “Demon Castle” and surrounded by the peculiar Yadan landform, I would be thrilled by the shrieking made by the blast there. The ice peak and snow hill and icicles on the trees in Xinjiang during winter is another kind of snow world. I was often astounded by the beautiful snow scene in Xinjiang, making me forget all the hardships and obsessed with it.
Xinjiang is a song of praise for life. If you have the chance to travel there, you will certainly be surprised!
