Not so long ago,
before she could even speak words,

Trixie went on an errand
with her daddy....
有一天，Trixie跟爸爸一起去洗衣服……

went down the block,
Trixie 和她的爸爸一起沿著街道走，
through the park,
他們穿過公園，
past the school,
路過學校，
and into the Laundromat.
然後來到了洗衣房。
Trixie helped her daddy put the laundry
into the machine.
Trixie幫爸爸把髒衣服放進洗衣機裡。
She even got to put the money
into the machine.
她還試著把硬幣投進投幣口裡。
Then they left.
然後他們就離開了。
But a block or so later...
但穿過一條街後……
Trixie realized something.
Trixie突然意識到了什麼。
Trixie turned to her daddy and said,
"Aggle Flaggle Klabble."
她對爸爸說了些火星語。
"That's right," replied her daddy,
爸爸不懂裝懂的說，“對，”
"We're going home."
“我們正回家呢。”
"AGGLE FLAGGLE KLABBLE!"
said Trixie again.
Trixie又說：“Aggle Flaggle Klabble。”
Blaggle plabble! Wumby flappy?! Snurp.
Trixie著急了，激烈地迸發出各種火星語。
"Now, please don't get fussy."
said her daddy.
爸爸鬱悶了，警告娃：“請不要小題大做。”
Well, she had no choice...
好吧，她別無選擇了...
Trixie bawled. WAAAA!
Trixie沒有選擇，她大喊，哇——
She went boneless.
突然變得沒骨頭一樣。
She did everything she could to show
how unhappy she was.
她做了一切可能的事表示她有多不開心。
By the time they got home,
her daddy was unhappy, too.
當他們到家時，
她爸爸也不高興了。
As soon as Trixie's mommy
opened the door, she asked,
媽媽開門時問道，
"Where's Knuffle Bunny?"
“兔娃娃在哪兒呢？”
The whole family ran down the block.
於是他們全家都跑到了街上。
And they ran through the park.
他們穿過公園。
They zoomed past the school,
他們迅速的跑過學校，
and into the Laundromat.
最後跑到了洗衣房。
Trixie's daddy looked for Knuffle Bunny.
Trixie的爸爸開始找（兔娃娃）。
And looked...
找啊找……
and looked...
找啊找……
and looked..
找啊找……
But Knuffle Bunny was nowhere
但是哪兒都找不到（兔娃娃）……
So Trixie's daddy decided to look harder.
所以Trixie的爸爸打算再使勁兒找找。
Until...
"KNUFFLE BUNNY!!!"
Trixie激動地大喊，“Knuffle Bunny.”
And those were the first words
Trixie ever said.
