比赛简介

“UIA-霍普杯国际大学生建筑设计竞赛”始于2012年，由国际建筑师协会（UIA）任国际主办，天津大学建筑学院、《城市·环境·设计》（UED）杂志社任主办单位，是由霍普股份独家赞助的面向国际建筑高校大学生的年度建筑设计竞赛，已成功举办八届。每届竞赛的评委会主席由一名国际著名建筑大师担任，竞赛评委为来自国内外的著名建筑师及学院院长。相较于建筑教育循序渐进的基础性培养，设计竞赛引导学生以全新的方式进行思考以提高解决问题的综合能力，同时也成为发现建筑精英的推手。

“UIA-HYP Cup International Student Competition in Architectural Design” was initiated in 2012. It is internationally sponsored by the Union International des Architects (UIA), organized by the School of Architecture, Tianjin University and Urban Environment Design (UED) Magazine. Shanghai HYP-ARCH Architectural Design Consultant Co. Ltd. is the Exclusive Naming Sponsor. It is an annual architectural competition which has been successfully held for 8 years. Each year, the UIA-HYP Cup is chaired by an internationally renowned architectural master, and the jury panel is selected from among the world's most outstanding architects and deans from schools of architecture. To boost the architectural education which mainly focuses on basic skill training in its conventional and progressive system, UIA-HYP Cup International Student Competition takes the role as an external platform for student to embrace a brand new thinking approach in order to improve their comprehensive problem solving skill, meanwhile it is also some kind of headhunter for discovering emerging elite architects.

“一个世纪以前，全球只有约10％的人口居住在城市，据联合国预测，到2050年，这一数据将上升到75％。”不仅仅是这些宏观的数据，令人震惊的全球城市趋同现象也促使我们意识到，反思增长过速对人类及其生存环境所产生的潜在影响。分析和理解城市、建筑与居民之间的互动，选择塑造城市、建筑以及公共空间的方式，这些都将与我们的未来城市策略息息相关。

“A century ago only 10% of the people of the planet lived in cities, and, according to the United Nations, this number is set to rise to 75% by 2050.”Besides these macro statistics, the surprising similarities of modern cities across the planet earth deems it increasingly necessary to consider the impacts of growth on people and on the environment. The analysis and understanding of the interaction between city, architecture and inhabitants; and how we chose to shape our cities, buildings and public spaces will indeed determine and relate to many other facts that will help determine our approach to future cities.

越来越多的城市日渐形成一种疏离的现象。在高密度的城市空间下，“Space（空间）”无处不在，而“Place（场所）”则无从寻觅。在城市的过往中，人们不断遭遇熟悉而陌生的“Anywhere（任何地方）

”，然而我们陌生却熟悉的“Somewhere（某个地方）”又在哪里？在这样的城市中，人们真正关心的是什么？建筑界所要关心的又是什么？

Many cities have increasingly alienating nature; in their density, one finds “space” but no sense of “place”. The urban inhabitants constantly arrive “anywhere”, but not “somewhere”. Under such circumstances, what shall be the true concern of man in general, and what shall be the concern in architecture profession in particular?

为了反思后媒体社会中的“伪人文关怀”现象，我们希望本次竞赛能够让更多杰出的年轻建筑专业人士成为以解决问题为导向的一代，而非仅仅依赖计算机程序生成设计的一代。

To reflect the phenomenon of “pseudo-humanistic care” in the post-media society, we wish to engage the younger architecture professionals as a solutions oriented generation rather than of computer generated generation.

竞赛要求

参赛者们需要在位于中国天津的杨柳青镇，为约8,000-32,000位居民而设计。这些居民将共享由四块200m×200m组成的、较高密度的城市核心空间区域。该区域的功能应侧重于媒体和文化。

The competition participators shall define their design solutions for around 8,000-32,000 inhabits in Yangliuqing, Tianjin, P. R. China. Those inhabits share a core urban spatial area at a size of 4×200m×200m, with relatively high density. The area’s function shall be focused on Media and Culture.

竞赛流程

1. 本竞赛采取国内外高校学生自由报名、公开竞赛的方式。经教育部认证的建筑及相关专业学生【含全日制本科生、硕士研究生（全日制及含2018年之后的非全日制研究生）、全日制博士研究生及2020年毕业的学生】以个人或小组形式参赛，每组成员不超过4人，指导教师不超过2名。

This is a fair competition open to all architecture and relevant major students around the globe. Full-time on-campus architecture students from accredited institutions (including master and PhD candidates and graduate students of 2020) can participate alone or as a team with team members of no more than four people and advisors of no more than two.

2. 小组参赛如有需要，只有小组组长负责联络，组员不予联络。

Only the team leader will be contacted when necessary if students participate as a team.

3. 关注UED微信或霍普杯官方微信参与竞赛，点击“在线注册”报名并填写详细信息；或直接在专题网站点击“在线注册”报名并填写详细信息。

4. 网上提交注册报名表，费用提交后将获得唯一报名序列号（务必保存好）。

After filled in the registration form, participants will get a serial number (please take care to preserve it as each participant/participating team has only one serial number).

5. 国内组报名费为每组200元人民币。费用一经收取，概不退还。参赛学生以就读高校划分国内组或国际组，国内外组员混合参赛的，按照国内组报名。

The application fee for domestic group is 200 yuan for each group. Once the fee is collected, it will not be refunded. The participating students are divided into domestic or international groups according to the universities they study in. If the members of domestic and foreign groups are mixed, they shall apply according to the domestic groups.

6. 参赛者一律提交电子版作品（包括图纸及相关文件），竞赛组委会不接收任何纸质版作品(作品提交邮箱[email protected])。提交截止日期为2020年9月20日 24:00（北京时间）。所有参赛作品届时将进行统一打印和展示。

Please submit the digital version of drawings and related documents to [email protected] before the submission deadline, 24:00(GMT+8) September 20th, 2020. The organizing committee accepts no printed version. Entries will be printed and exhibited together in due time.

7. 在竞赛组委会的协助下，评审团对参赛方案进行评审，并确定获奖作品。
With the assistance of the committee, juries will meet and decide the winners.

参赛规则

1. 参赛者同意并遵守本竞赛内容及竞赛规则；竞赛组委会对竞赛规则拥有最终解释权；

Individual participants and groups must agree with and follow the competition requirements and regulations. The organizing committee reserves its right of final interpretation.

Entries with words or pictures relating to the name or department of participants in the digital drawings will be disqualified from the competition.
3. 参赛者拥有参赛作品的版权，但竞赛组织方有权行使参赛作品署名权以外的其他版权权利；

Participants have the copyright, while the organization committee can exercise all other rights except authorship.
4. 参加过其他竞赛的作品，或使用他人曾经在公开场合发表过的创意的作品不允许参加竞赛。

Entries that have been submitted to other competitions, published on other public occasions or found to be similar to other works in terms of design ideas will be disqualified from the competition.
5. 竞赛评委不得作为指导老师指导学生参赛，违反规定的参赛者将被取消参赛资格；

Juries cannot act as advisers to participants; otherwise participants will be disqualified from the competition.
6. 每位参赛者限报名一个参赛小组，不能报名多组参赛；

Each participant can only register in one team.
7. 各小组提交一组参赛作品，严禁重复提交。若发现同一作品出现重复提交情况，组委会有权选择其中一组作为参赛作品进行评审；

Each group is only allowed to submit one piece of work. Repeated submission is prohibited. Once discovered, the organizing committee owns the right to choose any one of them.

8. 参赛小组信息以最终提交作品文件中的TXT为准。

The information of the team is based on the final submission of the TXT file.

作品提交

1.jpg格式的三张图，由竞赛组委会统一打印图板并展示。国内参赛者请将图纸和相关文件打包发送至竞赛组委会邮箱：[email protected]，邮件标题格式为“参赛作品标题（中英文作品名都需有）+报名序列号”。

2. 语言：竞赛官方语言为英文（必须提供英文作品名，内容至少包含全英文表达的设计说明）。中国大陆地区参赛学生可提供中文和英文双语图纸；中国港澳台地区和国际参赛学生提供英文图纸。
3. 比例与尺寸一律采用公制单位。
4. 文件资料：参赛者需在提交作品的邮件中附加可辨认的身份证明扫描件（中国大陆地区参赛学生提供身份证扫描件，中国港澳台地区和国际参赛学生提供护照扫描件）和学生证电子扫描件。
5. 作品规格
a.规格：请以841mm x594mm 图纸版面横向排版，每项作品包含3 幅图纸，不符合图纸要求的作品作废。如图：

b.内容：能充分表达作品创作意图的总平面图，建筑平、立、剖面图，透视图、图解等以及500 字左右的设计说明（组合于图面之中）等，比例不限。
c.提交作品的邮件里须附有一个以设计者姓名命名的文本（TXT 格式），包含作者姓名、报名序列号、电子邮箱、手机号码、QQ号码/微信号码（若有）、指导教师姓名及联系方式（若有）、学校及院系全名、作品名称及简要设计说明。以上内容需提交中英文双语版本。

图纸版面及文件格式要求：

1.提交作品jpg格式图片提交，要求分辨率不低于300dpi。提交图片请根据作品名称命名（如XXX 图1）。

2.文字资料以TXT格式文件分类整理于以设计者命名的文件夹中。需提交中英文双语版本。

3.提交格式：将三张图纸（“作品名称”图1、2、3）放置在一个命名为“（1）图纸”的文件夹；身份证（或学生证及护照）扫描件放置在“（2）身份证明”的文件夹；以设计者姓名命名的文本（中英文）放置在“（3）文本”的文件夹；将（1）、（2）、（3）文件夹一并打包压缩文件格式为zip或rar，总大小不超过100M，不小于50M。
