結婚不只是get married
marry是結婚，如果要表達嫁給某個人或娶了誰，我們應該說marry someone。我們結婚了，用英語怎麼表達呢？不要只會說get married哦。
knot [nɑːt] (用繩索等打的)結
tie the knot 結婚
hitch [hɪtʃ] 拴住；套住；勾住
get hitched 結婚
中國人常把結婚稱為喜結連理。其實，在英語裡也有這種說法，那就是tie the knot和get hitched。
tie是綁，knot是繩子打的結，所以tie the knot的意思就是把兩個人綁在一起了，也就是說兩個人正式成為夫妻了。hitch也有拴住的意思，所以結婚也可以說get hitched。
例句：
To my surprise,Mary will tie the knot next week.
讓我驚訝的是，瑪麗下週要結婚了。
go/walk down the aisle 結婚
外國人經常在教堂舉行婚禮，所以要走通道，所以結婚還可以說walk down the aisle。
例句：

奉子成婚可以說shotgun marriage，試婚是trial marriage，閃婚可以翻譯為flash marriage，marriage of convenience指的是那些沒有感情的形式婚姻。hidden marriage指的是隱瞞自己的婚姻狀況，在娛樂圈比較常見。

propose 是求婚的意思，向某人求婚直接用propose to someone就可以了。求婚還可以說make a proposal或pop the question to sb。
