"He doesn't want to play with me!" wailed the Little Princess.

"He only does boys' stuff."

"Never mind," said the Queen.

"I don't want to play with YOU!" said Agnes.

"Can I play with you?" asked the Little Princess.

"No!" said Willy, and he went to play with Molly, Polly and Agnes.

The Little Princess stood sadly by herself.

Then she saw another girl standing by herself.

"Nobody will play with me," said the Little Princess.

There were lots of children standing by themselves.

"Nobody will play with us," said the Little Princess.

"Or us!" said the lots of children.
“也沒有人和我們玩！”很多小朋友也這麼說。
The Little Princess and all the other children with no friends shared their sweets and fruits.
於是小公主和所有沒有朋友的小朋友們一起分享糖果和水果。
"I wish I had a friend," they all said.
“我真希望能有個朋友，”他們都這麼說。
They all played Tag together.
他們一起玩Tag遊戲。
"It would be more fun if we had some friends," they all said.
“如果有我們有些朋友就更好玩了，”他們這麼說。
In the classroom, all the children with no friends sat together.
到了教室裡，所有沒有朋友的孩子們坐在一起。
Some other children with no friends joined in.
其他沒有朋友的孩子也加入進來了。
"Don't worry about having no friends,"
“別擔心沒有朋友這件事，”
said the Little Princess to the other girl.
小公主跟一個女孩說道。
It's not so bad."
沒什麼大不了的。”
"It's not so bad," said all the others.
“是啊，其實沒什麼大不了的，”其他人也都異口同聲這麼說。
At going home time,
回家的時間到了，
all the children with no friends helped each other with their coats and hats.
沒有朋友的孩子們互相幫對方穿戴衣帽。
When the Little Princess put on her hat,
當小公主戴上她的帽子的時候，
Molly, Polly, Agnesand Willy gasped:
茉莉，珀利，艾格尼絲和威利驚叫：
"GOSH, SHE'S A PRINCESS!"
“天哪，她是公主！”
The Little Princess turned to all the other children with no friends.
小公主轉身面向那些沒有朋友的孩子們。
"Would you like come home to tea?" she said.
“你們想去我家喝杯茶嗎？”她問道。
"Yes, please," they said.
“當然啦，拜託啦，”他們答道。
"Can we come,too?" said Molly, Polly, Agnes and Willy.
“我們也可以一起去嗎？”茉莉，珀利，艾格尼絲和威利問。
The Little Princess frowned her terrible frown.
小公主的眉頭皺了起來。
"All right," she said. "Come on."
“好吧，”她說。“一起來吧。”
"Goodness!" said the Queen.
“我的老天！”女王說。
"Who are all these children?"
“這些孩子都是誰啊？”
friends," said the Little Princess.
“我的朋友們呀，”小公主開心地說。
