worth, worthy, worthwhile用法區別一:
worth表示“值,值得”,可用表語或後置定語,其後一定要有名詞或動名詞作賓語,但不能接不定式。如:
The book is worth $ 100.這本書值100元。
The book is worth reading.這本書值得看。
This is a book worth reading.這是一本值得讀的書。
Our house is worth about £100 000.
我們的房子大約值10萬英鎊。
How much is this painting worth?
這幅畫值多少錢?
The museum is certainly worth a visit.
這家博物館的確值得參觀。
This idea is well worth considering.
這個想法很值得考慮。
It's worth making an appointment before you go.

worthy表示“應得,配得上,值得”,常作表語或後置定語,後接不定式,或of加名詞或動名詞。作定語時,主要用於修飾人或諸如事業、生活等抽象名詞;作表語時,常後接被動語態的動詞不定式,或介詞 of 加名詞或被動語態的動名詞。如:
That's a worthy task.
那是一項很有價值的工作
a worthy champion 當之無愧的冠軍
a worthy champion/opponent/winner
值得尊敬的冠軍/對手/獲勝者
He felt he was not worthy of her.
他覺得他配不上她。
His behaviour is worthy of great praise. 他的行為應受到高度讚揚。
I think he is not worthy of her. 我認為他配不上她。
The book is worthy of being read. = The book is worthy to be read.這體書值得讀。
This is a book worthy of being read. = This is a book worthy to be read.這是一本值得讀的書。

worth, worthy, worthwhile用法區別三:
worthwhile表示“值得的,值得幹的,值得花時間/金錢/精力的”,可作定語、表語或賓補。如:
Nursing is a very worthwhile career. 護理是很值得幹的職業。(定語)
The visit to Paris is worthwhile. 去巴黎訪問是值得的。(表語)
I think it worthwhile to read the book. 我認為看那本書是值得的。(賓補)
還可用於It is worthwhile doing /to do sth. 句型。如:
It is worthwhile reading /to read the book.= Reading /To read is worthwhile.這本書值得看。
有時可在worth與while之間插入one's。如:
The work is worth your while. 這工作值得你去做。
It is worth our while to discuss the question. 這個問題值得我們討論。
Make it worth sb.'s while 酬謝某人。如:
This film is worth our while to see again.
這部影片值得我們再看一遍。
They promised to make it worth her while if she would take part. 他們許諾說她要是參加,就給她報酬。
