今天我們再來分享另一個地道但會引起歧義的英語表達a blue moon，那麼什麼叫“藍月亮”呢？在回答這個問題之前，一如既往，讓我們先來看一個英文例句：
I go shopping with my girlfriend once in a blue moon.
大家可以先猜一下這句話是什麼意思。
根據Urban Dictionary的解釋，我們可以用英文來表述：once in a blue moon means to do something very rarely, once in a while
另外，與moon有關的表達還有promise someone the moon
用英文來解釋就是：to promise to give someone something that is impossible for you to give
這個表達的意思是：向某人作無法兌現的承諾
舉例：It seems to me that she promised her boyfriend the moon.
我覺得她無法兌現對她男朋友的承諾。
除此之外，還有over the moon的表達，意思是欣喜若狂。其實，也不難理解，我們中文裡有類似的表達如：一個人太高興了，整個人都飄起來，要上天了都。
所以，over the moon字面意思是月亮之上，其實是十分高興的意思。
