雅思写作的评分标准是：
- Task Response任务回应
- Coherence and Cohesion连贯性
- Lexical Resources词汇丰富度
- Grammar Range and Accuracy语法及句式
这四个方面很重要，这就是写作提分的重点。这四个方面的分值区域都为1.0-9.0，所占比例也是1:1:1:1，各占25%。
拿Task Response这个方面来举例，7分作文的Task Response特点是：
- address all parts of the task 回应了任务中的所有问题
- presents a clear position throughout the response 全文中表现出了清晰的立场
- present, extend and support main ideas, but there may be a tendency to overgeneralize and/or supporting ideas may lack focus 表达并论证了主要观点，但是可能过于笼统或者论据缺乏重点
6分作文的Task Response特点是：
- address all parts of the task although some parts may be more fully covered than others 回应了任务中的所有问题，但是有些问题回应地不太全面
- presents a relevant position although the conclusion may become unclear or repetitive 观点清晰但是结尾可能不清楚或者有重复
- presents relevant main ideas but some may be inadequately developed/unclear 表达了与主题相关的主要观点，但是没有充分或者清晰地展开说明
对比以上两段描述，可以总结出，写作想要拿到7.0，必须要做到：
- 全文的观点一致并清晰
- 表达的观点和论据都与题目和你的立场相关
- 利用例子来解释和支撑观点
- 有结尾段做总结

而作文6.0-6.5的同学，常犯以下两个major problems：
（1）Not using the correct format to get your ideas across，没有用【正确】的文章结构清晰的表达观点
一个清晰的、合适的文章结构能过帮助作者更容易将自己的观点表达清楚、明白、有逻辑。如果没有采取合适的结构，那么，文章的表达一般也不会清晰有逻辑，得分也会在5.0之下。
（2） Not correctly analyzing and understanding the task before you write, 在写作之前，没有正确的分析和理解题目。
这个问题很关键，直接决定了你的文章是否和题目有相关性，你的答案是否全面地回应了题目。举个例子：
题目：There are severe social consequences to housing shortages in cities and only the government can solve these problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
翻译：房屋短缺是会引起一些很严重的社会问题，而这些问题只能政府来解决。你同意吗？
典型的【观点型】话题，审题之后，同学们可能会产生以下两个对问题的理解方式【住房短缺引起的问题】；【住房短缺这个问题】。仔细分析一下，这个题干有两层意思：
1）there are severe social consequences to housing shortage, do you agree or disagree?）住房短缺会引起很多社会问题，你同意吗？
2) only the government can solve these problems, do you agree or disagree?只有政府才能解决这些问题，你同意吗？
