第八週 《Hattie and the Fox》
農場裡的母雞Hattie發現草叢裡有隻狐狸，她不斷示警，但她農場裡的夥伴們都不以為意，他們最後有沒有逃脫狐狸的魔爪呢？
Hattie was a big black hen.
One morning she looked up and said "Goodness gracious me! I can see a nose in the bushes!"

"Good grief!" said the goose.
"Well well!" said the pig.
白鵝說：“天哪！”

奶牛說：“然後呢？”
And Hattie said "Goodness gracious me!
I can see a nose and two eyes in the bushes!"

"Good grief!" said the goose.
"Well well!" said the pig
"Who cares?" said the sheep.
"So what?" said the horse.
"What's next?" said the cow.

綿羊說：“管它呢！”
馬兒說：“那又怎樣！”
奶牛說：“然後呢？”
And Hattie said "Goodness gracious me! I can see a nose, two eyes and two ears in the bushes!"

And Hattie said "Goodness gracious me! I can see a nose, two eyes, two ears, a body, four legs, and a tail in the bushes!
It's a fox! It's a fox!"
And she flew very quickly into a nearby tree.
母雞Hattie說：“天哪！我看到灌木叢裡有一個鼻子，兩隻眼睛，兩隻耳朵，一個身體，四條腿，還有一條尾巴！是狐狸！是狐狸！”她飛快地鑽進附近的樹林裡。
"Oh, no!" said the goose.
"Dear me!" said the pig
"Oh, dear!" said the sheep.
"Oh, help!" said the horse.
白鵝說：“哦，不！”
小豬說：“哎呀！”
綿羊說：“天哪！”
馬兒說：“救命！”
But the cow said,"Moo!" so loudly that the fox was frightened and ran away.
不過，奶牛大叫“哞——”。聲音非常大，嚇得狐狸拔腿就跑。
And they were all so surprised that none of them said anything for a very long time.
他們受到了太大的驚嚇，以至於很長時間說不出話來。
