Greeting
There are many ways to greet someone. We'll learn about the most common way to greet someone in this lesson. I'll give a variety of example sentences.

1、Greeting someone you never met
向你之前沒見過的人打招呼：
"Hi, my name is Steve. It's nice to meet you."
你好，我的名字是史蒂夫，很高興遇到你
You can respond to this by saying
你可以這樣來回答：
"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Jack."
很高興遇到你，我是傑克
2、Another common question to ask is
另一個普遍可以問的問題是：
"What do you do for a living?"
你是做什麼工作的？
You can respond to this by saying
你可以這樣來回答：
"I work at a restaurant."
"I work at a bank."
"I work at a software company."
"I'm a dentist."
3、Usually, you will not need to ask for a name. It is implied that each person should say their name. But in case they don't, you can ask
通常你不必問對方的名字，當然這其中必然要問名字，但是以防萬一必須要問，你可以這樣說：
"What is your name?"
你的名字是什麼？
4、Many times, I don't hear the name. If you would like for them to repeat their name, you can say
很多時候，我沒有聽清對方的名字，如果你想讓他們再說一遍自己的名字，你可以這樣說：
"What was that again?"
"Excuse me?"
"Pardon me?"
不好意思，可以重新說一遍嗎？
