昨天參加了一場物外書店的活動，裡面講的是濟慈和這個電影。
Bright Star是濟慈寫給女友芳妮-布勞恩（Fanny Brawne）的一首十四行詩。在本詩中，濟慈採用了bright star，the moving waters，snow，love's ripening breast等意象，把關於愛情、死亡和永恆的思想融會在一起，表現了生活、死亡、愛情和理想等永恆的主題。
Bright Star

Bright star, would I were steadfast as thou art---
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And Watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors---
No-yet still steadfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever---or else swoon to death.

約翰·濟慈（John·Keats）出生於1795年，英國倫敦，是浪漫主義詩人的傑出代表。濟慈才華橫溢，與雪萊、拜倫齊名。
Here lies one whose name was written in water.
此地長眠者，聲名水上書。
這是濟慈生前給自己撰寫的墓誌銘。濟慈不願把名字刻在墓碑上，而是寫在水上，讓這一生隨流水逝去。但是他遺留下來的詩篇卻一直譽滿人間。
濟慈年少時父母便相繼去世，這種悲痛影響了濟慈一生。後進入埃菲爾德學校（Enfield School）學習，閱讀和寫作能力突出。1810年被送去當藥劑師的學徒；1815年考入倫敦大學國王學院（King's College London），不久便棄醫寫詩。1821年濟慈因肺結核去世，年僅25歲，他的一生坎坷而短暫，他卻留下了大量優美詩篇。代表作有：《夜鶯頌》（Ode to a Nightingale）、《希臘古甕頌》 (Ode on a Grecian Urn) 、《秋頌》（To Autumn ）、《憂鬱頌》（Ode on Melancholy）等。
