1）in the end 表示经过许多变化、困难或某种努力之后才发生。（这种情况也可用finally来表示，但finally一定要放在动词前面。）
例：In the end, he had to ask his brother for help.最终，她不得不请她的哥哥帮忙。
2）finally 表示最后，说明次序
3）at last 用来表示，“等了或耽误了很长时间之后才发生”，而且语气很强烈。
例：At last, when they found him, he was almost dead.
最终当人们找到他时，他已经快要死了。
at last 还可用于感叹句，finally和in the end 不能用作感叹句。
