be that 提前倒装，正常语序：as it may be that. 但英语中as 必须用在倒装句才表示让步。
Child as he is ,he knows a lot. 尽管他还是个孩子，他懂得却很多。
Try as he might. he failed . 尽管他努力了，他还是失败了。
=Try though he might, he failed.
=Although/Though he might try , he failed.
