本課複習:被動語態

主動語態與被動語態皆指動詞的形式而言。在主動句中,動詞的主語是執行動作的人或物

被動語態由be的一種形式和過去分詞構成。

動詞作及物動詞用(即動詞後可加賓語)時才能構成被動語態。如果要說明是什麼人或什麼東西做了某事,則用“by+行為主體”結構

It is called a clavichord.

一般現在時

It was made in Germany in 1681.

一般過去時

Our clavichord is kept in the living room.

一般現在時

The instrument was bought by my grandfather many years ago.

一般過去時

Recently it was damaged by a visitor.

一般過去時

two of the strings were broken.

一般過去時

Now we are not allowed to touch it.

一般現在時

It is being repaired by a friend of my father's.

現在進行時

After the alarm had been given,

had been given警報已經被拉響

The noise had been so faint that no one thought that the ship had been damaged.

had been damaged被損壞了

for five of her sixteen watertight compartments had already been flooded!

had already been flooded已經被淹了

The order to abandon ship was given and hundreds of people plunged into the icy water.

was given命令被髮出

As there were not enough lifeboats for everybody, 1,500 lives were lost.

were lost命喪失了

lose的被動語態。lose:to have sth/sb taken away from you as a result of an accident,getting old,dying etc.
