Health Notice for Foreign Nationals in Quanzhou
為應對近期新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情，1月24日，根據《福建省突發公共衛生事件應急預案》，福建省啟動重大突發公共衛生事件一級響應。泉州市委、市政府高度重視，統一部署，迅速行動，採取果斷、有力、科學的舉措，全力遏制疫情蔓延。在此，泉州市人民政府外事辦公室溫馨提醒在泉的外籍人士注意以下事項：
一、關注權威信息
二、做好自我防護
儘量避免前往人員密集的場所，減少聚會聚餐等集體活動。若必須前往，外出時佩戴醫用防護口罩，儘量避免使用公共交通工具。保持良好的衛生習慣，注意勤洗手。適當開窗通風，保持室內環境衛生。避免接觸任何野生動物或禽類動物，肉類和蛋類請徹底煮熟後食用。
三、參與聯防群治
如果您近期曾赴疫情高發地區或接觸過感染人員，請密切關注自身身體狀況並第一時間向所在街道和社區或市疾控機構報告。當政府、社區和醫療機構人員做疫情防控登記詢問時，請予以理解並配合做好工作。
四、及時定點診治
請密切注意身體狀況，若出現發熱、咳嗽、胸悶、乏力等症狀，應第一時間戴好口罩及時就近到定點醫療機構的發熱門診就醫檢查。
泉州市醫療機構設有發熱門診的共有224家。
全市各有關方面將積極為在泉外籍人士提供防控、醫療及生活等方面的必要協助。在泉外籍人士如需協助，請與泉州市人民政府外事辦公室聯繫。

To curb theoutbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), FujianProvince activated on January 24th Level-I alert [the highest level]of public health incidents in accordance with the Public Health EmergencyContingency Plan of Fujian. Attaching paramount importance to the situation,the CPC Quanzhou Municipal Committee and Quanzhou Municipal People's Governmenthave set up a special taskforce, taken swift actions, adopted resolute，strong and scientific measures to contain thespread of the disease. Here are some recommendations from the Foreign AffairsOffice of Quanzhou Municipal People's Government to foreign nationals residingin or travelling to Quanzhou：

II.Prevention and self-protection
Please doyour best to avoid crowded places, gatherings, parties or other groupactivities. When going out, wear a surgical mask properly and refrain fromusing public transportation.
Pleasepractice good personal hygiene. Clean your hands often. Tidy and disinfect your home and maintainproper ventilation. Avoid unprotected contact with wild animals or birds. Andeat thoroughly cooked meat and eggs.
III.Support our prevention and control efforts
In case ofrecent visit to affected areas or having contact with people from those areas,please pay close attention to your personal health and report to the community,Sub-district government or the municipal CDC as early as possible. Pleasecooperate with the government or community personnel and medical staff if theyinquire about your conditions.
IV. SeekTimely Medical Care at Designated Hospitals
Please payclose attention to your personal health. Should you catch a fever, cough,experience fatigue or a feeling of oppression of the chest, please wear asurgical mask and seek medical care immediately at the nearest designatedmedical institution with clinics for fever diagnosis and treatment.
Please seethe attached list for the 224 designated medical institutions with clinicsdealing with fever in Quanzhou.
