Stretching tens of thousands of miles, the ancient Silk Road connected trade conduits on both land and sea. Today, the Belt and Road (B&R) runs across mountains and rivers to serve as a friendship bridge enabling inclusive and win-win cooperation between China and the outside world.

蒙古國最大互通立交橋、中馬友誼大橋、中老鐵路跨湄公河特大橋、孟加拉國帕德瑪大橋、莫桑比克馬普托大橋、中俄黑河-布拉戈維申斯克黑龍江(阿穆爾河)大橋……通過這一座座友誼之橋,我們把團結互信的種子播撒;通過這一座座合作之橋,我們將互利共贏的果實分享。

We are sowing the seeds of solidarity and mutual trust by erecting projects like the largest interconnection flyover in Mongolia, China-Maldives Friendship Bridge, China-Laos Railway Bridge over Mekong River, Padma Bridge in Bangladesh, Maputo Bridge in Mozambique, Heihe-Blagoveshchensk Heilongjiang (Amur River) Highway and River Bridge. Via those bridges, we are spreading the fruits of win-win further afield.

奔騰的帕德瑪河被譽為孟加拉國的“生命之水”,帕德瑪大橋被譽為當地民眾的“夢想之橋”。帕德瑪大橋位於孟加拉國首都達卡偏西南約40公里處,主橋為長6.15公里的公鐵兩用雙層鋼桁梁橋,上層為四車道高速公路,下層為單線鐵路。同時,大橋還預留了承載天然氣及光纜等其它線路設備的管道。

Over the running Padma River, the so-called “water of life” in Bangladesh, Padma Bridge is honored as a “dream bridge” among local people. About 40km away in the southwest of Dacca, the capital, Padma Bridge has a 6.15km-long main bridge, which is a highway-railway double-deck steel truss bridge, with the upper deck being a four-lane highway and the lower deck a single-line railway. The bridge is also equipped with pipelines for natural gas, cable, and other lines and equipment.

孟加拉國帕德瑪大橋

大橋在建設過程中,遇到了巨大的挑戰。帕德瑪河下游河道寬闊、水流湍急、洪水頻發,颶風、雷擊等時有發生,且橋址所處河床土質極其鬆軟。加之項目部進場勘察時發現,有22個主橋墩的地質條件比預想的情況還要差。

Builders encountered enormous challenges in the construction. The lower reaches of Padma River are broad, with surging currents, frequent floods, and occasional hurricanes and thunder strikes. What’s more, the bridge is built on riverbed with soft soil. When the team department made their survey, they found that the geological conditions of 22 main piers are poorer than they have expected.

針對上述情況,在施工過程中,施工方將這22個主橋墩設計變更為在6個傾斜樁基礎上再加1個直樁,其中11個墩位鋼管樁增設樁外“TAM”壓漿管,並採用世界首創鋼管樁樁側預壓技術,來進一步增強承載力。

To address the problems, during the construction of the 22 piers, the construction contractor added another straight pile to six slant piles, and added “TAM” pulp tubes outside the steel pipe piles of 11 piers. They used world-leading pile side preloading technique of steel pipe piles to intensify the bearing capacity.

建設中的帕德瑪大橋

7月15日,大橋主橋鋼樁全部插打完成。作為連接中國及東南亞“泛亞鐵路”的重要通道、“一帶一路”倡議的重要交通支點工程,大橋建成後將結束孟加拉國南部21個區與達卡之間居民的擺渡史,更將激活孟加拉國西南部與達卡的交通升級,加快商品流通,拉動孟加拉國GDP增長1.5%左右。

On July 15, all steel piles of the main bridge were plugged. As a major passage of the Pan-Asia Railway that connects China and Southeast Asia and a pivotal project of B&R, the bridge will make ferry among 21 southern districts in Bangladesh and Dacca a thing of the past, stimulate transportation upgrading between southwest Bangladesh and Dacca, and enable faster commodity flow, and a 1.5% GDP growth of Bangladesh.

帕德瑪大橋建成後將拉動孟加拉國經濟增長

2018年11月,在非洲大陸的東南部,由中國路橋工程有限責任公司承建的莫桑比克馬普托大橋及連接線項目建成通車,為美麗的海港城市馬普托131週歲生日送上了一份最好的禮物。馬普托大橋北連馬普托老城區,南接待開發的卡騰貝新區,以3公里的全長和680米的主跨成為非洲第一大懸索橋。

In November 2018, in southeast Africa, Maputo Bridge in Mozambique and its connecting line opened to traffic. Contracted by China Road and Bridge Corporation, the bridge was presented as a nice gift for the 131st birthday of the inviting coastal city Maputo. Connecting the old town of Maputo to the north and the new district of Katembe to the south, the 3km-long bridge with 680m main span is the largest suspension bridge in Africa.

莫桑比克馬普托大橋

大橋的建設帶動了當地的就業。據統計,在項目建設期間,累計為當地創造了3788個就業崗位,為當地培養了各類技術工人5000餘人,成為培養本土產業工人的大學校。

The bridge construction has boosted local employment. Data shows that during the construction period, the project has created 3,788 local jobs, and trained some 5,000 technical workers in various fields, serving as a college nurturing local industrial workers.

2018年11月10日,莫桑比克馬普托大橋通車

馬普托大橋的建成,將使卡騰貝迅速成為馬普托市的“浦東新區”,還將為莫桑比克南部地區乃至整個南部非洲的快速發展奠定基礎。正如莫桑比克總統紐西在大橋通車慶典上所說,中國為莫桑比克打造了足以載入史冊的精品工程,馬普托大橋的通車實現了莫桑比克人民的願望,將有助於推動當地旅遊、物流等行業的發展,促進國民經濟增長,並對區域一體化做出貢獻。

The completion of Maputo Bridge has turned Katembe into a “Pudong New Area” in Maputo, and will lay a foundation for the fast development of southern Mozambique and even the whole southern African. Just as what Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, President of the Republic of Mozambique, said at the inauguration ceremony, China has built a classic project for Mozambique worthy of being written into the annals of history; with Maputo Bridge being put into operation, Mozambique people have realized their long-cherished wish; the bridge will contribute to local tourism, logistics, and other industries, and enable GDP growth and regional integration.

5月31日,隨著合龍螺栓的緊固到位,中國俄羅斯合建的首座跨境公路大橋黑河-布拉戈維申斯克黑龍江(阿穆爾河)大橋順利合龍,這代表著中俄兩岸民眾期盼30年的夢想即將實現。

When the closure bolt was fastened on May 31, the Heihe-Blagoveshchensk Heilongjiang (Amur River) Highway and River Bridge realized the final closure, which meant that a 30-year-old dream cherished by Chinese and Russian peopleon the two sides has materialized.

5月31日,黑河-布拉戈維申斯克黑龍江(阿穆爾河)大橋順利合龍

作為中俄兩國國境線上規模最大、距離最近、規格最高的對應城市,交通問題一直制約著黑河、布拉戈維申斯克兩地的合作發展。2016年12月24日,歷經28年磋商,大橋正式開工建設。作為我國高緯度寒冷地區首座鋼結構矮塔斜拉橋,大橋可耐寒零下60℃。大橋全長1284米、寬14.5米,主航道跨徑147米。它的建成不僅可為黑河與布拉戈維申斯克兩座城市提供可靠、穩定的全年跨境交通,更將進一步加強兩國地區間的合作。

Though Heihe and Blagoveshchensk are the largest counterpart cities along China-Russia border with the shortest distance and the highest standards, they have long been troubled with poor transportation. On December 24, 2016, the construction of the bridge began after 28 years of negotiation. It is the first steel structure extradosed cable-stayed bridge in China’s cold areas at high latitudes, which is extremly resistant to cold weather of -60℃with a total length of 1,284m, a width of 14.5m, and a span of main line 147m. The bridge will offer reliable, stable year-round cross-border traffic services for Heihe and Blagoveshchensk, and enable closer cooperation between the two regions and even two countries.

開工兩年多來,中俄建設者並肩奮戰,開創性地提出“共貸共建、同步實施、統一運營、收費還貸”的跨境基礎設施建設新模式,全力推動大橋順利建設。

During the two-plus years of construction, Chinese and Russian builders have worked together to identify a new model of cross-border infrastructure construction, namely “co-loaning and co-building, implementation in sync, unified operation, and collecting fees to pay loans”, sparing no efforts to ensure smooth construction.

預計今年12月,大橋將交工驗收。到2020年,大橋建成後,客運量可達140萬人次,貨運量可達300萬噸,屆時一條新的國際公路大通道將橫跨中俄兩岸,助力兩岸各領域合作實現全方位“合龍”。

It is estimated that the bridge will be delivered in this December. Once completed, the bridge will handle 1.4 million passenger trips and 3 million tons of cargo by 2020, increasing two and 10 folds respectively compared with present level. At that time, a new international highway will stretch across the borders of China and Russia to empower all-dimensional integration of cooperation in all fields.
