隨著改革開放的深入，中國取得了重大的經濟成功和社會進步，扶貧問題也日益成為國家發展戰略，精準扶貧更確立了扶貧的針對性和有效性。本節專題討論扶貧相關表達。

Poverty alleviation 扶貧。注意“扶貧”不可以想當然地寫作poverty support, 這就搞笑話了，成了“貧困支持”，呵呵，我們不可以“支持貧困”呵！我們要alleviate poverty（減輕貧困）呵！所以“扶貧”的正確表達為“poverty alleviation”，意為“貧困減輕”。Alleviation 是名詞，意為“減輕，緩解” 。

2) The State implements the strategy of targeted poverty alleviation and provides targeted assistance to poverty counties.

國家實施精準扶貧戰略，對貧困縣實行定點幫扶。
