1. fascinating - it means extremely interesting.
-超级棒！如果你真心认为这件衣服和好看，你很喜欢，甚至迷恋，那fascinating比interesting更能准确表达你的热情。
e.g. Dad loves muggles, thinks they're fascinating.
2. intriguing - it arouses your curiosity and it peaks your interest.
-有趣的；迷人的。这个词厉害了，当你发现一件事让你想深入了解并且探究，能引起你好奇心的，一定要用它来表达。如果你只用interesting，那对方觉得你的兴趣也一般。
e.g. Tell me, what's the most intriguing thing about her?
3. thought-provoking - that's really caused you to think and maybe even caused you to think about something that you've never thought before.
-发人深省的；引起思考的。如果你想找个词表达你所看到的听到的激起了你的思考欲，给了你灵感，那就用thought-provking，很有深度的一个词。provoke的本意就是“激怒，诱发“，它是动词。
e.g. Okay, what we're going for is serious, insightful, thought-provoking radio journalism.
4. captivating - when something is captivating, first it attracts you, something that kind of grabs on and holds your attention.
-迷人的；有魅力的。 它呢含有两层意思，一是你先被吸引了，然后产生的兴趣。比如你看到某人的眼睛，被吸引了，发展除了一见钟情的恋爱...哈哈哈
e.g. His eyes were captivating, by far the most attractive feature in his darkly handsome face.
5. enthralling - it means is that, if something's enthralling it holds your attention completely.
-迷人的。如果你对某件事特别感兴趣而且能专注在这上面，也就是说能抓住你眼球和注意力的，那么enthralling是很贴切的表达。
e.g. I found your book absolutely enthralling!
6. compelling - if something is compelling it is, it evokes your attention but also admiration and interest kind of all into one.
-引人注目的；令人信服的。这个形容词集抓眼球，欣赏和有趣于一身。信息量庞大...如果你用到这个词，那就说明你描述的东西非常有说服力，很容易让人折服，非常有力量。
e.g. Lucy had no compelling reason to go into town.
7. Stimulating - it means that it's inspiring new ideas, there's new enthusiasm, just something that makes you feel more creative and more refreshed.
-刺激的；有刺激性的。和thought-provoking有类似的意思，只不过Stimulating给了你新的灵感和思路，让你变的更有创意。
e.g. I find his work very stimulating .
8. appealing - It is, pleasing, it is attractive, and it is interesting.
-吸引人的；动人的。这个词可以用在人的外貌上，形容某人很迷人，吸引人，漂亮，直接用appealing就可以，也可以用stunning；当然它也可以形容某部电影，某本书很棒。
e.g. I find his manner very appealing.
9. riveting - it means that it is extremely interesting and exciting in the same time.
-吸引人的。它的意思超级吸引人的，让你觉得超兴奋的。
e.g. As usual, she gave a riveting performance.
10. gripping - And that's what happens to your attention.
-扣人心弦的；引人注意的；令人全神贯注的。用到这个词意味着你对某件事全情投入，有种“一心只读圣贤书”的意思。
e.g. His books are always so gripping.
