我們先來看看《紙牌屋》裡的一個片段。
大家先猜猜There you go在這裡是什麼意思。
There you go絕對是老外最常說的句子之一，有非常多的意思，不過你找個老外來問到底是啥意思，他一時半會兒也說不清。
大家在字典裡和網上搜，最多隻有三四個釋義，但不見得在每個出現的地方能夠解釋得通。
下里我總結了一共八個意思，可能是全網最全解釋。
其實There you go 是 You go there的倒裝形式。本質意思是你(you)達到了（go)某個目的地或結果（there)，即進入某個狀況，根據語境來看，意思非常靈活。
1）就是這樣的，你做對了（本質意思即你達成了某個結果）。
There you go. That’s the right way to do it.
就是這樣的。這就是正確的方法。
當別人做完一件事，你可以就只說一句there you go, 表示「你得到了想要的結果」 =you go there= you go to the destination= you accomplish it.
2）就是這樣的，你說對了（本質意思即你得到了正確的答案）。
A: So is it because of the gap in communication?所以是因為的溝通問題，對嗎？
B: There you go. 你說對了。
這裡的there you go = you go to the right answer= you finally got the right answer.
一般用於別人剛開始不理解一件事，你去引導他，最後他終於明白了。
3) 就是這樣的，我說對了吧（本質意思即 你看到了我之前說的事情發生了吧）
A: I don’t like our boss. He is so harsh. 我不喜歡我們老闆，他對我們太嚴厲了。
B: Yeah. Last week he requested me to work till midnight. 可不是嘛，上週他要我加班到半夜。
A: There you go. 我剛才沒說錯吧。
這裡的there you go= Now you go to the conclusion I told you= I told you so= that proves my point.
用來表示某件就像你剛才說過的一樣。
4) 放在句中，表示「就這樣的」（本質意思即，你現在應該瞭解這個信息了）
Let me show you how to use this machine. Step 1… Step 2.. Step 3… There you go. So easy.
我來教你怎麼用這臺機器。第一步…第二步…第三步 …就這樣子，就這麼簡單。
You know how I joined this company at that point? I sent an email to the manager and told him why I wanted to work here. And much to my surprise he replied and invited me for an interview. Then I passed the interview. There you go. I started to work here. 就這樣，我就在這裡工作了。
這裡的there you go= you go to the information I told and should understand= you understand now.
5) 噢，是這樣呀（委婉表示不感興趣，本質意思即，你說的話證明是這樣的）。
A: I like programing a lot. I started to learn C++, Java, Python myself in high school. I developed ….
B: There you go. 噢，這樣呀。
這裡的there you go = what you are saying goes to the point(you like programing)= you proved you point.
6) = there you go again, 你又來了（本質意思即 你又做了你之前做過的事情）
A: Let’s talk about computer. 我們討論一下電腦吧。
B: There you go (again). 你又來了。
A: Our boss requested us to work overtime today. 老闆要我們今天加班。
B: There he goes again. 他又來這一套了。
這裡的there you go = you go to the behavior you did before= you do the thing again you did before.
7) 好啦（幫別人做完一件事，說there you go 表示做好了，本質意思即 你得到了你想要的）。
A: Could you help turn on the AC? 可以幫忙開一下空調嗎？
B: (found the remote control and turned on). There you go. 好了。
這裡的there you go = you go to the result you asked for = you got what you wanted.
8) = there it is 就是這樣了（表示對一件雖然事情不滿意，但目前也沒辦法改變，只能暫時接受）。
The company is short of hands, but there you go= there it is. This is the peak season.
公司很缺人，但也沒辦法，現在是旺季。
這裡的there you go= there it is= you go to the reality= The reality is like this.表示現狀就是如此。
文章開頭《紙牌屋》視頻片段的裡是上面第3個個意思，也就那個男的說「不會有什麼好事」，女的說「會判死刑」，男的就說「我剛才沒說錯吧，不會又什麼好事」。
美國總統羅納德里根在1982年總統競選辯論中，說了那句著名的There you go again，意思是You made that mistake again(意思6）。

Mr. Howard Smith: Governor?
Governor Ronald Reagan: There you go again. When I opposed Medicare, there was another piece of legislation meeting the same problem before the Congress. I happened to favor the other piece of legislation and thought that it would be better for the senior citizens and provide better care than the one that was finally passed.
