沙特王儲穆罕默德•本•薩勒曼訪問巴基斯坦
據巴基斯坦媒體綜合報道，沙特王儲穆罕默德•本•薩勒曼週日表示，在他訪問巴基斯坦期間，沙特與巴簽署了價值200億美元的投資協議。
薩勒曼稱，這200億美元只是兩國經濟合作的開始，將使這兩個歷史上的穆斯林盟友關係更加緊密。
報道稱，幾個月來，沙特阿拉伯向巴基斯坦提供了60億美元貸款，以支撐巴基斯坦迅速減少的外匯儲備，幫助巴基斯坦維持了經濟運轉，也讓伊斯蘭堡在與國際貨幣基金組織的救助計劃談判獲得了喘息的空間。
此次，沙特與巴簽署的協議大多集中在能源項目上，包括在瓜達爾投資100億美元的煉油廠和石化企業。雙方還就礦產和農業投資簽署了諒解備忘錄。
