夫妻治療應該與藥物治療、週期性住院治療、支持小組和個體治療一樣,在聯合治療中擁有一席之地。

INSTRUCTIONS TO CONTRIBUTORS

Procedure for submissions: Manuscripts should be typewritten, using double spacing. Submissions should be made using Microsoft Word 97-2003 or later, and identified with the title of the file. All contributions should be addressed to the Editor at [email protected] or [email protected] and copied to [email protected]. Direct subsequent correspondence to [email protected].

Submissions of full papers should be normally no more than 6,000-8,000 words in length. They should comprise two separate files, to assist in the editorial review process. One should include the paper, together with its title, a list of keywords, a list of references, and an abstract. The other should include a cover page for the paper with its title, the author's name and contact details, and a brief biographical summary of up to 150 words.

Languages: Contributions may be written in either English or Chinese. Authors may choose to use British English or American English, as the copy-editor will standardise the form. When contributions are submitted in Chinese, if accepted for publication, they will be translated into English at journal expense. We anticipate publication in Chinese, which is likely to be online only.

Abstracts: All papers must be accompanied by an abstract of up to 200 words in length. All submissions must have an abstract in English. Those submissions in Chinese should have abstracts both in Chinese and English. Footnotes and endnotes will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances. Please incorporate all footnotes into the body of the text, or omit them if they are extraneous.

References should be compiled using the standard format employed by the American Psychological Association. All English language references must be in English, but can be entered in their original language. If references are originally in Chinese, supply English translation in final manuscript.

Author's Declaration: Authors are asked to complete and send with their manuscript an Author's Declaration confirming confidentiality, originality, and copyright. A copy of this Declaration will be forwarded after final submission.

Confidentiality and consent: Contributors are expected to use all possible means of assuring the confidentiality of those about whom they write, such as by disguising significant aspects of the case material. Alternatively, authors should acquire their subjects' consent. In general terms, contributors are required to follow the procedure adopted in their own countries which govern the conduct of their work with human or animal subjects. If requiring further advice, authors are invited to discuss these matters with a member of the Journal's International Advisory Board in their country or with the Editor. If clinical material is included in your submission (which we encourage) please submit a brief note indicating to the Editor how confidentiality has been protected, or alternatively, that you have patients’ permission to publish.

Originality: Papers submitted for publication should not have been published elsewhere or be currently submitted to other publications.

Peer Review: All papers will be subject to peer review. In order to preserve anonymity in the review process, authors should supply the Editor with two separate documents, as detailed above.

Copy Dates: While the Editor will welcome contributions at any time, authors should note that final copy dates for forthcoming issues will normally be on 1st February of each year.

Editorial Procedure: Contributors will receive a prompt acknowledgement of the receipt of their submissions. Following the process of peer review the Editor will decide either (i) to accept or reject or (ii) to accept, subject to modification. The Editor's decision will be final.

Editing and Publication:If accepted, manuscripts will be copy-edited and returned to the author for editorial inquiries and proofreading. Please be prepared to collaborate with deliberate speed in this process in order to ensure timely publication.
