SciDex Ofer Simon:

安全性方面:我們的智能合約代碼比較直白,沒有太多的集成點可以被利用攻擊。此外,部署的每個智能合約都將存儲其ID和哈希值,以驗證它們在生成之後有沒有被篡改,這樣構建的自動部署功能對用戶來說節省成本並且更安全;

擴容方面:首先,我們將在以太坊網絡上運行,目前還沒有可以由我們解決的關於可擴展性問題;

SciDex Ofer Simon:

TokenGazer 研究員HE:

SciDex Ofer Simon:

  • 首先,賣家需要繳納押金,如果不遵守規定,這部分押金會作為罰款;

01.TokenGazer Researcher HE: Whether it's the right timing generating smart contracts at scale? securities issues, scalability issues, and application scenarios?

SciDex Ofer Simon: The timing is right, as we need to build the right infrastructure to be ready when scale really hits.

We are already in the process of working with large corporates that are very interested in smart contracts and will need the market to be ready for scale to adopt.

Security wise, our smart contracts code is quite straight forward there are not too many integration points where people can exploit it.

Furthermore, each contract deployed will have its ID & hash stored in order to verify that no changes were made in the contracts after generating them.

The auto-deploy feature we built will save costs to the user and also make it more protected since we're managing it.

Scalability wise, at first, we're set to run on Ethereum net - and i don't see any specific scalability issue that is solvable in our hands.

Application wise, there are many! Some we can't talk about just yet and others like insurance, money lending, data exchange!

02.TokenGazer Researcher HE: SciDex uses the oracle as a third party to verify the transaction. The oracle predicts the connection between the blockchain and the real world. If the triggering conditions of the real-world event that anchored by the oracle are manipulated, what effect will it have?

SciDex Ofer Simon: We are building the third part oracles - we're not using someone else's (yet).

Also, we're using only officials APIs for our oracles, the likeliness of them being compromised for now is low.

Even though they are, we are working on other cool ways to check whether they are comprised as well as building an API consensus algorithm.

03.TokenGazer Researcher HE: How to ensure the reliability of the arbitrator when the transaction has a dispute?

SciDex Ofer Simon:At the beginning, we'll be using APIs from large companies, no need for an arbiter then.

In other contracts, we are looking into different solution such as building the community ourselves or leverage our partner jur.io which solely focuses on this.

TokenGazer Researcher HE: API of large companys sounds centralized.

SciDex Ofer Simon:Centralized is not a bad word :)

We're building a tool to help people write smart contracts that will communicate with the outside world.

Let's take a simple example of a freelancer getting paid for his work to promote a YouTube video, of course we will need to use official google APIs to measure the freelancer's work. That's what I mean by large company's APIs.

We are working on a consensus algo for collecting multiple APIs from less reliable sources.

TokenGazer Researcher HE: So that means for now we could only reach the data from Google?

SciDex Ofer Simon: Exactly. If/When they move their DB into a decentralized one - I'll be the first to crawl the data from there. But as we now aim to connect the real world with a "Decentralized" world, the oracles must use the centralized APIs to do the bridging.

04.TokenGazer Researcher HE: How to keep the data trading market away from the hidden dangers of illegal data transactions?

SciDex Ofer Simon: We have several mechanisms to approach this problem.

  • First , sellers stake money and might lose it if they aren't compliance.
  • Second, we have a curators network that review the data , and can mark this data as illegal/false and we have the power of removing it from the marketplace.

In addition, our way of editing and generating smart contracts can embed data compliance and data restrictions.

Meaning, we will be able to translate data compliance into smart contracts so those are clear and public.if solve data compliance using smart contracts, illegal data can be prevented :)

05.TokenGazer Researcher HE: SciDex's assumptions, such as Vector Space Modeling (VSM), Term Frequency & Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), have you conducted relevant tests, or get any trial run data?

SciDex Ofer Simon: These aren't assumption, but more of technical approaches our nlp guys are taking to do the contracts translation (from paper to digital smart contracts).

We started the work in this, but there is still much to go until we complete this task.
