如果說看美劇學英語只關注詞彙，那可就失去了一半的學習機會。地道的表達固然是學習美式英語的基礎，但發音才是美式英語的精髓。
這一期的英語學習，Ethan老師給大家帶來的是美劇《絕命毒師》（《Breaking Bad》）的片段。這部美劇講述了遭遇中年危機的化學老師Walter White，在被診斷患了晚期肺癌，只剩下兩年的時間之後，為了保證家庭將來的經濟來源，White鋌而走險，利用自己豐富的化學知識，創建制毒實驗室，自己製造毒品，開始毒品犯罪的危險之路的故事。
Ethan老師首先講的是美國人的特殊發音方式：
喜歡把“T”發成柔和的“D”，如：
better >bedder
water > wader
喜歡把“to”的音發成“duh”，在節選的《絕命毒師》片段中，有很多例子：
We go to the police > We go duh the police
I know what it could do to this family > I know what it could do duh this family
Stop trying to justify > Stop tryin duh justify
Stop going in to the work > Stop goin in duh the work
該怎麼正確發音？Ethan老師在視頻中做了很好的示範。

Ask/say something lightly:say it in a way that is not serious
To shoot/get shot: to shoot a gun/to be shot bu a gun
Hardened:no longer get upset or shocked by something
To be/get in over your head: to be get involved in a situation that is too difficult for you
Rope someone into doing something:persuade or tricksomeone into doing something
Clue someone in: to give someone information so that they understand something
