在日常交流當中，我們都會使用一些口語，雖然乍一看上去這些口語翻譯成中文感覺沒什麼不對，但是練習口語的時候，我們還是要儘量避免出現語法錯誤。比如說文章標題裡的“I think so. 我也這麼想”，看上去沒什麼不對，但真正的意思是“我也這麼認為”。所以，下面就讓我們來了解一下那些容易犯的小錯誤。
你能幫我把這個扔了嗎
（X） Can you help me throw it?
（√） Can you throw me it please?
throw 這個詞本身是表示“扔”這個動作，而不是扔掉的意思。比如：
Can you throw me that book?
你能把那本書扔給我嗎？
1）如果表示扔掉，我們可以說：…throw something away. 比如：I threw my old iPhone away because I'm getting an iPhone X. 我把舊手機扔了，因為我要買一個iPhone X.
2）除了throw away，我們還可以用dump something或者get rid of something來表示“扔掉”。所以表達“你能幫我把這個扔了嗎？”我們可以這樣說：
Can you dump this for me?
Can you throw this away for me?
Can you get rid of it for me?
等一下，我得系下鞋帶
（X） Hold up, I gotta tie my shoes up.
（√） Hold on a sec. I gotta（need to） tie my shoes.
這個句子當中有兩個地方容易出現錯誤，“等一下”我們常用的表達有：
Hold on a second.
One second.
Hang on a second.
1）“hold up”的意思是“舉起；支撐；耽擱”。而“繫鞋帶”可以用 “tie my shoes”或 “tie my shoes laces”。口語中一般用tie my shoes就可以了。
2）那麼tie up是什麼意思呢？Tie something up表示把某物捆緊，比如：Tie up the books so we can sell them altogether. 把這些書捆起來，我們可以一起賣了。
我暫時沒有工作
（X） I don't have work now.
（√） I’m between jobs at the moment.
這句話的意思是我現在沒有工作要做，意思就是我現在很閒。如何地道的表達“暫時沒工作”？
1）英語中有一個詞組：between jobs. 這是個非常形象的表達，意思是處於兩個工作之間的空檔期，正在找工作或者有意願繼續工作。比如： I'm between jobs right now. Still haven't found anything I want to do. 我現在暫時沒有工作。還沒有找到自己想做的工作。
2）而 I don't have work now. 我現在很閒/不忙。
你知道還要多久嗎
（X） Do you know how long will it take?
（√） Do you know how long it will（is going to/gonna） take?
除了用do you know來表示“你知道”，還可以用any idea…?需要注意的是，這兩個句子都包含名詞性從句，這個從句應該用陳述句的語序。
我得順便去趟藥店
（X） I have to drop by to go to the drugstore.
（√） I've got to drop by the drugstore.
這句話犯了中式英語的錯誤，drop by後面可以直接跟地名，都可以表示順便去某某地方。直接說，drop by the drugstore就可以了。如：
Drop by a place.
Stop by a place.
Swing by a place.
那麼這句話我們可以說：
I need to swing by the drugstore.
I've got to drop by the drugstore.
I gotta stop by the pharmacy.
我也這麼想
（X） Think so.
（√） That's what I thought too.
“I think so.”意思是我認為某事應該是真的，但又不是很確定，中文可以翻譯成：我覺得是的，或者可能是吧。
1）使用場景：
A：Is she married? B: I think so.
A：她結婚了嗎？ B：應該結了吧。
A：Is it a good idea? B: I think so.
A：這個想法好嗎？ B：我覺得挺好的。
2）那麼“我也這麼想。”我們可以這麼說：
I had the same thought.
I thought the same thing.
That's what I was thinking too.
That's what I thought too.
That makes two of us.
