2017年4月23日，706青年空間舉辦了第一次獨立雜誌展覽。當時邀請到來自不同地區和機構的獨立雜誌，它們涵蓋了藝術、詩歌小說、漫畫、民藝、社科、新聞、藏族、穆斯林、同志等眾多話題，吸引了25家獨立雜誌參展，現場觀展人數超過300人，現場直播人數超過500人，前期文案選出觸及人群達到5萬+。
布可夫斯基在其自傳體小說《風又吹回來了》中這樣定義“自版文學”：“自己寫作，自己編輯，自己審查，自己出版，自己傳播，然後自己因此去坐牢。”
今年，我們決定將展覽的內容擴大到獨立出版，希望能徵集到雜誌、書籍、作品集、報紙、海報、磁帶、CD等等。我們希望這次參展的出版物是思想獨立：是出於個人或組織的興趣、使命而製作的，內容是原創、自由而純粹的表達。
今年我們不僅會擴大展出場地面積，還會增多聯展機構以及優化宣傳渠道。
並且希望能夠和有意向的獨立出版機構進行深度合作，706青年空間免費提供展覽場地以及多方資源支持，進行長期的線下輸出展覽或銷售渠道。
706獨立出版物展覽會在去年獨立雜誌的基礎上增加插畫、藝術類出版物，旨在探索和傳播另一種文化生態和思想視角。

Last year on World Reading Day, 706 Youth Space held its first exhibition for independent magazines. I invited magazines from different areas and organizations, which covered art, poetry, fiction, comics, craft, social science, Tibet, Muslim and homosexuality.
I compose myself, edit myself, censor myself, publish it myself, distribute it myself and sit it out for myself - this capacious samizdat formula belongs to Vladimir Bukovsky. This year, I decide to expand our exhibition to include independent publications which can be magazines, books, portfolios, newspapers, posters, cassette, CD and so on. My standard for our possible exhibits are thought independence: the creations are made out of the interest or mission of individuals or organizations and the contents should be original, free and pure.
