Usually Nigeria sit fairly deep looking to counter their opponents but given the circumstances it is likely they will push further forward looking to press and dominate the match. The Nigerian defense were exposed regularly from set pieces against the Croats and Sigurdsson deliveries are sure to be a huge threat.
Expect Iceland to allow Nigeria to come on too them and look to counter with pace. Iceland Manager, Heimir Hallgrimsson, will be fully aware of the threat Nigeria pose on the counter and are unlikely to commit too many players in attack so the Super Eagles could have the lions share of possession.
